White House Slams Karzai for Latest Anti-American Outburst

I find it hard to believe that anyone would put up with any guff from this cretin.

Oh to be President for a day. I would just tell Karzai do it join the enemy Taliban forces and you might get to live for about an hour if you're lucky.

His rules of engagement already cost American lives and even if he could make a deal with the Radicals they would break it ASAP and he'd be headless at their hands in no time.

He's become a problem and our Amateur in Chief is not likely to be able to handle him.

The Obama administration once again is troubled and "frustrated" by Afghan President Hamid Karzai, who reportedly is threatening to align with the Taliban while accusing the United States of meddling in his country's affairs.

"The remarks are troubling and the substance of the remarks are simply not true," White House Press Secretary Robert Gibbs said Monday.

People get killed and we should fess up when it happens but Karzai is wrong in him thinking. Collateral damage is a fact and nothing today compared to wars of the past. If fact it's minuscule as sad as it is.

President Obama's top spokesman suggested the trouble with Karzai could endanger U.S. military operations in the country. He was reacting to comments Karzai made Saturday during a private meeting with Afghan lawmakers. They came after Karzai and Secretary of State Hillary Clinton tried to patch things up Friday following a similar outburst earlier in the week in which he accused Western governments of sabotaging his election.

The war has moved to Pakistan. We don't need Karzai or his god-forsaken country.

Geez, you munged the article address and inserted your own comment into the middle of the article quote. Not too good.

    From the article.

Excerpted from “White House Slams Karzai for Latest Anti-American Outburst” By FOXNews.com, FOX News, Updated April 05, 2010
Gibbs said Monday that he doesn't "put a lot of stake into everything that he said," and that the White House is still focusing on working with the Karzai administration.

He said the meeting between Obama and Karzai set for May 12 in Washington is still on the schedule.
President Karzai appears to be addressing different things to different audiences. What's important is that a stable and credible Afghan government is essential for a quick exit of American and NATO forces. Let's hope Karzai lives up to the job.

Karzai is an American Puppet in much the same way that the Russians elected/installed their own Puppet when they invaded Afghanistan.
Without American protection Karzai would be running to safe shelter with as much of Afghanistan's wealth that he could steal and transport.

Re: White House Slams Karzai for Latest Anti-American Outburst

As noted back in late November when the U.S. was considering a revised strategy in Afghanistan, I believed it would be an error for the U.S. to build a strategy that depended on the Karzai regime. That one has witnessed a lack of leadership, among other things, from Mr. Karzai is not a surprise.

The dynamics from that posted message (http://www.debatepolitics.com/breaki...post1058393887) are worth restating:

IMO, placing emphasis on working with the tribal leaders rather than the inept, corrupt, and among many Afghans, illegitimate, government in Kabul will be key. Reliance on Kabul will likely lead to unsatisfactory outcomes...

Afghanistan is not a "nation" in the true sense of the word. It is comprised of largely autonomous areas, each with its own leaders, traditions, cultures, and needs. A functional military strategy has to be built on the structure that exists in Afghanistan, not one that might be preferable but is not present. A Kabul-centric strategy will likely leave things pretty much as they currently stand, with swaths of territory held by the Taliban and Taliban attacks continuing.

Heres an idea about Afghanistan since they are weed smokers and various other drug users also.

Why not supply them with power and playstations and xbox's to lull them to a place where peace and imagination rule the day. Giving them an atmosphere to see the world as creation instead of destruction. This plagues American youth as well so we already know the result which is complancency.

With the terrorist pull out immediately of Afghanistan so they can poke their heads out all the while leaving snipers in wait to kill them with clean head shoots.

ultimate success in OBAMA'S WAR has been beyond reach from the beginning because the enemy we seek, al qaeda, is in pakistan, not afghanistan

he's even more dependent on zardari, bhutto's wicked and weak widower, than he is on the karzai cartel

100,000 american troops are serving in this wrong war in the first place to prop this incompetent and corrupt plastic potentate, karzai

THIS is obama's partner, THIS the nature of the relationship

obama's a rank amateur, the most incompetent leadership america has ever suffered

    worry
