I'd give him a medal. He can do what he wants... perhaps in the dictatorship world view, he'd be prosecuted, but not until the Constitution is removed from existence. All the little Obama bed wetters really are taking this personally. Entertaining as hell...
I think if Thomas Jefferson were looking down, the author of the Bill of Rights, on whats being proposed here, hed agree with it. He would agree that the First Amendment cannot be absolute. - Chuck Schumer (D). Yet, Madison and Mason wrote the Bill of Rights, according to Sheila Jackson Lee, 400 years ago. Yup, it's a fact.

The "masses" are against the bill or haven't you seen the polls?

I have seen the olive branch offered. I have also seen it thrown back in the face of the current administration. People reap what they sow.
LOL What olive branch? Obama shut out all Republicans from debate then had a show day where he pretended to listen but shout out all major proposals by Republicans.

This is the most divisive and biggest liar of a president we have had in a century.
Our Constitution was made only for a moral and religious people. It is wholly inadequate to the government of any other.

Oh yeah, what oath did he swear?

Yeah, all doctors should be like him. They should only treat the people they want to treat.

Not to jump topics Tex, but more to make a point, do YOU think the Iraqi War was a mistake? The polls say it was. How do YOU feel about it?

    Does that include GWB?

Do YOU think Bush was a good president? Do you agree with what the polls will say about that too?

    Just curious.

Would it be right of me to say "I hope you suffer as a result of Obama's immature and unprofessional behavior"?

People don't respect the position or know what it takes. They have to go to school much longer than I ever would (and I have a masters), pay hundreds of thousands in education and tuition costs, pay huge malpractice insurance payments that border on the absurd, and still find a way to compensate themselves to fit the scarcity, skill, and specialty of their craft.

And in one fell swoop, Democrats are going to take that all away from them and make them on pace with someone who eeked out of college with a plethora of Cs and squeezed himself into a random pedestrian job. Yeah, like we're not short on doctors and nurses already. Not only will you create a demand crisis, but you'll push away the more brilliant minds because the field is simply not worth their time.

Anyone who wants to play the altruism card and whine about how "it should be about the patients", put your money where your mouth is and make the sacrifices to become a doctor. If Obama came along and told me that I had a cap on what I could charge, I'd tell him to jack himself.

Re: Doctor tells Obama supporters: Go elsewhere for health care

I don't think anyone is saying that this guy doesn't have the right to do this. He absolutely does. It is his way of protesting. Good for him.

However, it does come off as incredibly petty and unprofessional. It's certainly not going to help his business. Politics do have a place in life, but one really should avoid mixing it with the professional/business side of things. Just because one has different political beliefs doesn't mean they are somehow a lesser human being and not worthy of the same treatment as everyone else. I'm sure he was hoping this sign would have a huge impact with people as if he's making some huge bold and profound statement. Frankly, if I saw that sign in any business window, I would just chuckle to myself and roll my eyes.

Plus, it's most likely true that if the situation were reversed and this doctor were expressing a similar sort of liberal agenda that he would be not getting the same amount of support from people on the right about it. People are all about applauding this kind of stuff when it falls in line with their personal views.

Wrong. The "masses" are evenly divided on the bill. 46% to 45%.

I honestly not sure if his weasel technicality lets him dodge the AMA, but it doesn't fly in the court of decent behavior. He is turning away patients on political grounds for all practical purposes, and should face criticism for doing so. He needs to keep his political views separate from his professional duties.
