No one is limiting rights in the Constitution.

You use that word far too loosely.

    Also from the article:

Founded by Presbyterians in 1869, Trinity has been governed by an independent board of trustees since 1969 but maintains a “covenant relationship” with the church.

“Any cultural reference, even if it is religious, our first instinct should not be to remove it, but to accept it and tolerate it,” said Brendan McNamara, president of the College Republicans.

Our Constitution was made only for a moral and religious people. It is wholly inadequate to the government of any other.

Then explain the church and Chaplin on campus not to mention the actual name of the school

How about not attending a school called "Trinity University"? Does Ahab know that "Trinity" refers to the Father, Son, and Holy Ghost?

...in other news, Notre Dame students would like to have all references to the Virgin Mary removed from campus.

    LOL

Another perfect example of liberalism trying to control private organizations on what they can and cannot do.

What part of Trinity do these students not get?

Since these are students and they are not involveing the ACLU in forcing the issue, I see no problem in what they are doing. I would also not have any problem with the board of trustees saying that it will not be taken out.

This is an internal problem and it's being taken internally. Nothing wrong with that.

That doesn't really make sense. We use the BC/AD notation for keeping track of years. AD stand for Anno Dominem which I think means "in the year of our lord".

The article doesn't mention anything about legality of the comment only that they are asking it to be removed. It is the students right to ask for changes just as it is the board of trustees rights to tell them no.
