Obama to Unveil Offshore Oil Drilling Plans

So Obama has blamed everything bad on Bush? I don't think so. Try again. And discover the Shift key and punctuation while you're at it.

Prof.. is there hidden language you are using Mistermam gets but we don't??

"when their president acts like a whiny little girl, blaming everyone"...

Does "EVERYONE" now mean "Bush"? Is this secrete code? Or is this a case of liberal blame Bu****us run completely amuck??

And why must they attack punctuation when losing an argument..??

Thanks in advance for the help!

Frankly this is puzzling to me because it's out of character for Obama. He still is pushing to destroy the economy with his his climate change and energy bill, to fight problems that does not exist.

This is confusing at best, and makes me wonder what is really going on or is this a misdirection play to once again try to draw attention away from the PHONY Health Plan and all the taxes coming from it.

Curious, I can't wait to see what he comes up with next, it's a month away from April Fools day.

Those who stand for nothing fall for anything.
I think as others have pointed out its one of those we give you off shore oil drilling in exchange for cap and trade deals. If there is no strings attached and it is only just off shore oil drilling then I can support the president on this.

We need off shore drilling. Before some stupid idiot says it will take 5-10 years before we see any of that oil, those stupid idiots need to ask them selves how have they been saying it will be 5-10 years before we see any of that oil. How many decades have gone by.So in other words its already been a 5-10 years.

Yeah, we should have been offshore pumping unabated for the last 40 years..... And by now it would all be gone.

That would have been 40 years less dependent on foreign oil.

By about 2% less dependent. Had we been drilling or not, you would have never known the difference.

So you know for a fact how much oil is offshore? I doubt anyone knows for such how much oil is offshore.

I know offshore oil platforms are being built as fast as they can and every one is spoken for. I know oil can only be pumped so fast no matter how much oil is there and there are almost 4000 oil and gas platforms in the gulf and it took 50 years to reach that number. You act like we aren't already doing any offshore drilling. Opening up all areas would increase US oil production 2-5% in 10 years.

This was inevitable, as oil becomes more and more expensive, demand becomes greater and greater and oil discoveries, ie new oil in the world serves, decreases every year.
That said, its not going to mean much in the long run, at the current trend of world wide oil consumption, not to mention the time to develop those fields, oil prices will continue to soar.

I only hope that the economics of oil force the change to alternative means, I don't mean green although that would be a plus, I mean alternative, before we simply run out.
