Obama: Tea Party features 'core group' against him

Um.... or, just like you're doing right now, there were too many people ignoring the debt and instead focusing on insulting the very people are trying to bring up the issue of debt.

Excelent post....:applaud

I haven't insulted anybody, and any group has a Constitutional right to protest what they feel are inequities in the government. But to pretend now that rightwing activists protested the excesses of the Bush administration, that they marched against the unaccounted spending, the war in Iraq which was paid for without being included in the budget, is simply an attempt to rewrite history.

You don't consider calling people "Tea Baggers" to be an insult?…… believe me, we do…. It should be considered flaming, baiting and trolling on this forum.

I didn't call anyone a Teabagger, not for a while anyway. They call themselves teabaggers, so wtf? As to the other question, where was all this outrage when the President (Bush) really was screwing the country? The tea party complains about higher taxes, which have not gone up under Obama, they complain about government takeover of health care, which didn't happen, they complain about the government bailing out General Motors, I bet a lot of them either sell GM cars or fix them. So what is the REAL reason these people are livid with anger if they weren't angry at Bush? Hmmmm?

It's a social sphere of fear and misinformation. It's like these people take pride in being ignorant. Just because he's democrat, he gets crapped on from the right no matter what. That is dangerous stuff. History moves on from people like that. Years from now, history will look back and just be like. What the **** happened? We honestly thought he was send us all to death camps. What a crock.

If the filthy definition of Tea Bagers was a well know and widely used term then ok it's use could qulaify as "flaming, baiting and trolling on this forum". But let's be serious here most of us civilized people never heard the that term used as some definition of some what I now understand is a filthy disgusting faux sex act. The first time most of us heard it was to described or identify Tea Partiers. "Tea Bagger" does not in any way rank up there is recognition with 'FAG' 'NIGGER' 'SPIC' WOP or "Wet BACK".... Yet since you guys have educated us about the word and unfortunately the practice that it describes we are both revulsed and disgusted by the word and the practice.

That is pretty much my problem with most of the Tea Partiers and the clones of TP's. So all of a sudden about 4 months after President Obama takes office they want their country back - from who, who took it, where was it taken to? Bush spends us into oblivion on one useless war, deregulates the financial system, and declares victory before 3555 more Americans will die in Cheney's War and they think that Obama? took "their” country away. They welcome buffoons who accuse the President of not being an America, they accuse him of being the Anti-Christ, a Socialist, Nazi, or a Communist and they know not what those isms are. They fume against some mythical government take over of the health care system but they shout "don't mess with my Medicare". OMG Medicare is a government program!!! Who knew!!!!
