Obama and the Liberals want Amnesty and open Borders for new voters. But then with ACORN they have been registering illegal aliens to vote for a while already.

Napolitano is and has been soft on all border issues for years and has no desire to enforce the laws, nor does Obama.

The Minute men were lied about and harassed to the point they gave up. I guess until enough liberals are kidnapped or killed and beheaded by insurgent drug cartel members nothing is likely to be done either about the encroachment or the violence spilling into our Nation from what is quickly becoming a totally lawless Mexico.

Three members of New Mexico's congressional delegation have asked for an increase in the Border Patrol's presence, and former Colorado Rep. Tom Tancredo called on Homeland Security Secretary Janet Napolitano to dispatch the National Guard to the Arizona border.

Homeland Security Secretary Janet Napolitano is under pressure to beef up border security in the Southwest in the wake of Saturday's killing of a rancher in southeastern Arizona.

Three members of New Mexico's congressional delegation have asked for an increase in the Border Patrol's presence in the Boot Heel of New Mexico, about 10 miles from where the rancher was shot to death over the weekend. U.S. Sens. Jeff Bingaman and Tom Udall, along with Rep. Harry Teague, say Napolitano's agency needs to take more security steps.

And former Colorado Rep. Tom Tancredo, an outspoken opponent of illegal immigration, called on Napolitano to "reject politics and do the right thing" by dispatching the National Guard to the Arizona border.

Cochise County Sheriff's Office deputies and detectives responded to an area northeast of Douglas on Saturday after searchers found the body of 58-year-old Robert Krentz inside his all terrain vehicle on his property. Detectives were able to determine that Krentz apparently came upon one person when he was fatally shot and his dog was wounded.

Sadly, the Arizona will lose that fight. Arizona does not have the authority to make federal immigration violations a state crime. The governor is signing her political death warrant if she signs that bill.

She and that law will be squashed by the Obama administration.

I don't think so. Could be an interesting SC case state rights vs feds.
If you read the AZ law it has nothing to do with legal immigrations. It has everything to do with being in AZ illegally. There are already Federal Laws that make it illegal to be in the US without permission.

Isn't about time the Feds to their job and protect our borders? Why you so protective of the illegals?

Arrest their illegal asses for trespassing and loitering and put them in the Arpaio tent camp.

In other words, they have no actual evidence what so ever that it was an illegal immigrant that did it. Based on what evidence.. I mean... they are not even sure themselves lol.

Pathetic if you ask me. This investigation should be taken from the locals and handed to an independent organisation since it is clear that the locals are biased as hell when it comes to illegals.. I mean come on, pointing the finger at illegals is the easiest cop out ever since a large part of the fearmongering right would jump on the bandwagon out the bat without even a real investigation.

This reminds me of the Madrid bombings.. the right going all out to blame ETA without any evidence and when there finally was evidence it showed it was not ETA. They also used the words "likely" btw.

Ok, maybe the news jumped the gun on "illegal", but someone went across the border without permission since they crossed at a non legal entry point. Makes it illegal.

There are many of us who have been calling for better border security for years. Taking your statements and lets drop the killing of the rancher. Do you think it is ok to come into the US illegally?

Ok, the killer may have been already in the US. The person was tracked to the border and crossed into Mexico. I'll grant you the news didn't state the tracks came into the US and back to Mexico. If in fact it turns out it was a US citizen that did the killing, it does not deflect from the need to control our borders and stop the influx of illegals and drug runners. If the person was a US citizen, that person entered Mexico illegally.

The flow of illegals and drug runners is well documented in that part of Arizona. It is a problem that the locals have had for a long time. I also agree we need to crack down on those that hire illegals.

But that does not stop the "usual suspects" on these boards and in the general right wing political sphere, to jump on the story as some sort of bannerwagon for "fortress USA".

For all we know and the police in the area know, this farmer could have been killed by his wife, a minuteman, martians, cubans, or the taliban.

As I stated, the local police should have the case removed from their jurisdiction as they clearly are highly biased by stating off the bat that it had something to do with illegals without having any evidence of it.

For all we know the police could have been behind the killings, and they know they can use the border as a reason for the killings. There are a lot of crooked cops especially those who are close to the border. Lots of money to be made.

How much do you know of the ranching community in souther Arizona? Your statement might as well said GWB did it? Radio contact with his brother prior to the murder stated he made contact with an "illegal". Could it have been a legal resident of the US, possible. I doubt the rancher who has had many contacts on his ranch would have mistaken the person for a cop or BP. Read the article from post 10. It outlines the more likely senerious.
