Yes those crude weapons should be ignored because after all they only killed tens of thousands of people and were delivered over 1500 miles away by crude old propeller driven planes.
Yea we should ignore threats from crazy people.
We know that normal people would never risk annihilation but Kim Jong is not a normal person and neither is Mahmoud Ahmadinejad Kim may be terminally ill and Ahmadinejad has a religious death wish.
Crude is under estimating the danger in deal with kooks like these two or radical idiots like we have at the helm now who don't know one damn thing about how to deal with other Countries as Obama showed when insulted Benjamin Netanyahu .
I never said ignore it. North Korean aircraft would never make it far enough to drop a bomb. The border is guarded by modern anti-aircraft equipment and fighters, and the North Korean Air Force is fielding the same jets they did when the war was still hot... only now they're 40 years old and falling apart.
Why do they need a missile? Seoul is within artillery range of the border, and the 2 countries share a coastline. They could deliver a warhead by any number of methods and still do a lot of damage to South Korea, and that's who the first target will be.
Fatman and Little Boy would not fit in an artillery tube, and even if you built a big one, the firing would damage the warhead beyond use. Miniaturizing nuclear weapons is tough, it'll take them a while to figure it out. They've only recently managed their first real nuclear detonation. (the first one fizzled out it seems, the explosion measured was so weak that conventional explosives could have duplicated it)
