It's clear from your post that you have no idea what I was arguing.

I don't care why, I don't care his motivation, none of that matters.
Here's the issue I have with this and its for both sides and its also what I meant by baiting...

When someone goes "Some individuals at the recent War Protest were holding up signs calling for Bush's death. What do you think of this?" then yes, give the straight answer without butts.

If someone instead goes "What are you thoughts of War Protestors calling for the death of George Bush and our Troops, echoing the thoughts of John Kerry that our troops are terrorists?" At that point, they can't just go "Those signs are wrong" and leave it there because the person has essentially baited them into either having to add a "...but" to deal with the other portions that are questionable OR to say nothing and then run it as if the person couldn't put up any defense and thus agreed with your assertion.

Similarly, if someone goes "What do you think about someone cutting the gas line at a congressman's brothers house" should illicit a "that's horrible" type of response. However if it is "What is you opinion on the shouted slurs and the gas line being cut that is suggested to have been spurred by the Tea Party movement and people like Sarah Palin?" then again, suddenly, they're put in a baited situation.

I think the "...but" aspect of this whole situation is as much the fault of those often asking/reporting the questions as those responding sadly.

No, I am referring to another thread where Harry Guerrilla and others insisted that we can't trust reports that congressmen were spit on etc. by tea partiers because there was no video showing the act.

Rep. Cantor: Shots Fired at Richmond Office

RICHMOND | WASHINGTON, D.C. - Republican congressman Eric Cantor said Thursday that not only Democrats have been the recent victim of threatening e-mails and gunshots: he said shots were fired into his Richmond campaign office.

Cantor said the gunshots happened this week and he does not have plans to make the e-mails public because he thinks that will only incite more to be sent. He says threatening e-mails should be investigated by law enforcement and believes it's reckless to publish them for "media gain."

Cantor's remarks come a day after the FBI and local police departments say at least 10 Democratic members of Congress were targeted following Sunday's health care reform vote
Yup, Republicans are not the only ones caught up in mob mentality. Looks like there are Democrats caught up in it too. So, are these attacks instigated by the leaders of each respective party? No. These are acts committed by criminals, and face it. There are a few criminals on each side of the debate.

The question here is how do we ratchet down the rhetoric, so that acts like this are fewer, and so that we begin having intelligent dialogue on the subject of health care? This is going to be the topic of this thread.

    What a comeback.

You just got caught citing a moronic source and pretending its real.

There are plenty of far right examples that are factual. Stick with those.
