Regardless, it doesn't matter. The Tea Party Movement was huge, and it sent a very loud and reasonable message to politicians and those in the White House. But the Obama administration and Congress have already shown they don't care and are not listening. Nothing the Tea Partiers have requested has been granted; it's almost like Obama is waiting to see what stance the Tea Partiers will take on a particular issue, and then he will opt to do the exact opposite in response.
So by trying to dumb down any debate by making it personal and attacking the Tea Party just shows readers what type of intellectual lemming you are. Your insults to the Tea Partiers shows everyone that you have no :respekt: for anyone else but those who fully agree with your own opinion. It's a sad reality, to be honest. But the saddest part is that nobody is listening to the actual message the Tea Partiers are trying to get across, and the country simply trolls on like lemmings following a path of slow economic destruction.
America is not the same country it once was, just ten years ago, five year... heck, since yesterday. The socialists won, and the country will be crippled for it with no way to stop the downward spiral and path we've clearly taken. It's a sad day in America... :hm
The "Tea Party" was HUGE only in the minds of Glenn Beck and Fox News Viewers.
The reality was, they drew about 60,000 people and the number was greatly exaggerated by people who wished the number would have been bigger.
The last rally drew about 2000.
Not bad turn outs...but hardly the HUGE movement that supporters wanted to believe they were.
Ross Perots reform movement had more people involved.
You got the part I bolded correct.
Finally...you are correct in your last paragraph. America is not the same that it was 10 years ago. Our integrity and morals were mortgaged by an administration that took us to the level of our enemies. We lost our way and our standing amongst our allies. Thankfully we are on the way to recovery.
We have stopped the downward spiral and in 7 years when Obama's second term is finished, hopefully America's standing will be restored.
