I can guarantee that the party of NO will oppose any reform of immigration.
The like to have the abundant cheap labor that comes from undocumented workers. It keeps their CEO buddies and their corporate interests very happy.
The GOP will talk tough but when it comes to actually supporting legislation, they will run with their trunks between their legs just as the party of no always does when it comes to making real change.

and some other good stuff

but it's got a lot of problems

it expands both m's, which are already straining to breakdown and bleeding red in 2017, by 31 million new members while cutting their funding by a massive half a tril

it intends to come up with a full two thirds of the revenues required for all this mighty expansion by rooting out waste, fraud and abuse which teddy kennedy and hillary and bill and lbj and every other progressive from texas to chappaquiddick must have been just too stupid to find

it replaces a public option with a mandate on individuals---in the middle of our collective depression---to go out and buy a very expensive commodity from some PRIVATE provider

it's off budget by a quarter tril of doc fix, a quarter tril of double counting (according to cbo, links provided upon request), 50 billion of unaccounted admin costs, a 70 bil raid on the soc sec lockbox...

it's still loaded with bribes and exemptions for stiffnecked holdouts from dakota to florida, wyoming to vermont

it's all dependent on 10 years of taxes and only 6 years of benefits

it taxes everyone obama promised never to touch, the middle and lower classes, small and large biz, PAYROLL and targeted industries

It renews my faith in our system of government! It was great to see our representatives finally carry through with the mandate by the voters that put them into office.

I haven't seen much of that in the last 40 years.
 
There is still hope. As newt gingrich just mentioned on Fox, once the reps take back control they can fail to allocate funds for the 157 new departments created in the bill to run the Obama care system. Similar tactic used to screw Obamas pledge to close gitmo.

Make all the systems in the world you want, we just wont fund them so they will no longer function. But will they have the balls?

And didn't you yourself say it was not passed? Yup, you said right here in this thead "except, y'know, they never really did PASS it". They did not pass it, except in that they did pass it.
