Bricks Shatter Glass at NY Democratic Offices
By ROCHESTER, N.Y. (AP) -- Authorities are trying to find out who threw bricks through windows and doors at two Democratic Party offices in western New York before Sunday's health care vote.

Monroe County Democratic Committee officials say a brick shattered glass doors at the party's headquarters in Rochester on Saturday or Sunday. No one was in the building at the time. Rochester police are investigating.

Is this this centuries kansas-nebraska act?

Damn, people are PISSED....

Last time this happened it turned out to be a Democrat in Denver trying to cause trouble.

Someone is going to end up with high velocity lead poisoning before this is over with.

Are you advocating for that response?

They should be treated the same way as those who once threw eggs at President Bush's limo - Thrown in jail.

Easy way to figure out if it was legit or a Democrat transgression. If the brick had a note attached that said "can you hear me now?" it was probably a taxpayer; if it was just a brick, it was probably a Dem.

its probably the same guy that had the "If a Brown can't do it, a browning will" sign.

I think he's advocating the government follow the Constitution or at least consider it...

The power indigenous to the People and it's trust placed in Washington has been abused and there will be far more of that kind of thing coming in the future.

We must not advocate it, nor should we expect the People to tolerate the actions of an out-of-control federal government; one who has taken it upon themselves to decide what is best for the nation. It is NOT their job to make these types of decisions, their job is to represent the wishes of the People not to make decisions they "think" are the right ones.

This is a REPRESENTATIVE Republic and the politicians you see in Washington have chosen a different tact.

When you leave school, gain distance from your progressive educators, become a part of the real world and gain some understanding of the stakes in this game you will understand far more then you would be able to with your current level of experience. Understanding will come with time and experience.

I knew that things would get ugly the moment I saw that the health bill got passed. This is small potatoes compared to what is coming. I'm hoping that I'm wrong, but I really don't think so.

yes, it's a representative republic, and we are represented. vote your rep out, if you don't like it.

take a different TACK.

By throwing bricks at Democrats???

Better rocks than bullets...

Like I said we can't advocate... but..

One of life's lessons you will become familiar with is never force someone into a corner and expect complacency...

The left is guilty of far more erroneous behavior then that which you are responding to.. so save the outrage for someone who has not been exposed to the other side's ire. I have seen it and run from it myself so I speak from the experience I promise you will gain...

I understand your displeasure but where were you last week when students were burning cars over education budget cuts?

take a different TACK.

No my saddle works just fine...

tact [tækt]
n
1. a sense of what is fitting and considerate in dealing with others, so as to avoid giving offence or to win good will; discretion

No..... I think 11 States, and most likely, more than 11 States sueing in Federal Court will probably take care of the problem.

The health care reform fight isn't over. It's just changing venues.

Now that the House, in a historic vote, has passed the Senate's bill and sent it to the president's desk, state lawmakers and attorneys general already are lining up to challenge its constitutionality and wage an outside-the-Beltway war against it in the courts.

Virginia Attorney General Ken Cuccinelli was the first to announce Monday that he will file a legal challenge -- as soon as Obama signs the bill.

Florida Attorney General Bill McCollum also plans to announce Monday morning that he and top prosecutors from nine other states are filing a lawsuit to "protect the rights" of the American people from the bill.

They are expected to sue over the bill's mandate that requires everyone to buy health insurance.

"The health care reform legislation passed by the U.S. House of Representatives this last night clearly violates the U.S. Constitution and infringes on each state's sovereignty," McCollum said in a statement.

The lawsuit will be the first post-passage shot in a legal fight that's been brewing for months.

While some Republicans have threatened to pursue repealing the legislation down the road, the most immediate challenge will take place in the courts.

At least three dozen state legislatures are considering proposals to challenge the federal legislation. Some are pursuing amendments to their constitutions by ballot question; others are looking to change state law

This ain't over yet.

Is Obama getting a different news source and not allowed to have the people's? --_-- Or is he just pissing everyone off on purpose?

It's gonna be ugly. In a way though this was earned by deceit and underhanded tactics, don't take this as my condoning assault or vandalism, but when people are pushed too far, this happens.

You and Crush are advocating violence against duly elected representatives of our government. Plain and simple.

You don't know me. I'm equally outraged when EITHER side uses or advocates violence against our elected officials for doing their job. Shame on the both of you and anyone else who does the same. You come in here posting of following the Constitution then spit on it with your threats of violence against our representatives because you don't like that elections have consequences.

The only one of your "facts" I have a problem with is your assertion that I, or any one here has advocated violence against elected officials.. you seem to make much more of an observation than the observation warranted.

I retract my assertion about you, not ConservaBill.
