"All Black People" Asked to Leave S. Jersey Wal-Mart

Unclean hands? WTF does that mean? This is racist bull**** and is an illuminating example of my original point: blacks are more racist than whites.

Right. You want to offer up statistics, obviously compiled and computed by "whites" which paint "blacks" in a negative light, and are upset because I don't fall down on my knees and thank the gods and stars above that I have "the truth" before me, and have arrived at the promised land.
Then further insult to injury, you interject racism and bigotry into an already "racially-charged" thread, by claiming, willy-nilly, that "blacks are more racist than whites".
Well, isn't that special, typical and unexciting. Don't you have a tea party to get to?

Is not racist. It has nothing to do with the anti-Arab statement you produced, which calls for killing all Arabs.

When blacks have the attitude that they have been wronged and somebody owes them something for it, that is the victim mentality. Are you saying it doesn't exist?

No. I am saying your statement was indeed racist and that you have tried very hard to constantly cover what you have said. How many times is just this thread have you made incorrect and racist generalizations?

LOL! Whatever makes you sleep better you can imagine this happened in this thread! The only smacking that got done was my counters to your wild protestations.

OK man, whatever floats your boat.

Now he is going to go into his "it's anecdotal" rant and offer nothing of substance but misinformation based on his limited perceptions.

The tea party reference was uncalled for and is just as bad as what he is saying. Stop judging the majority by the actions of the minority.

Really. That's exactly what the Tea Partiers ought to be saying and distancing themselves from negative imagery and rhetoric.

I have admitted to using generalizations, when in fact I should qualify them as I don't mean to generalize. I do this often, not just in this thread/on this topic.

My gripe is that they are not racist. So here we are in a discussion of race. How exactly do you comment negatively about some members of the other race without being racist, according to you?

They like any other groups have little control over the lunatic fringe. When is the last time the Democrats or moderate liberals tried to control code pink or boobs not bombs? Oh never? And yet the same people would yell and scream that they do not represent the majority.

Play the partisan game someplace else.

The generalizations were racist. Like me saying all Jews have big noses. It is an unfair generalization and racist. End of story.

If you can't see it, you never will.

No, I see what you are saying. The generalizations were unintentional.

No, I see what you are saying. The generalizations were unintentional.

I know, that is why I said the comments are racist. I did not mean to imply you are. OK I did one time with the Partisan comment out of frustration.

Just because the comment is racist does not make you one. I never thought you were. Hell I have made comments people have perceived as racist etc.

It is the Internet, it happens.

Per capita says that as a pecentage there are far more blacks on welfare & unemployment than any other category.......;)
I could be wrong about unemployment as one must first work to be eligible....;)
I'd like to see the source for that.
If true then, what do you see as the cause?

So going back to the quote we were debating:

It seems the entire welfare/projects/inner city mentality is that blacks are victims and deserve special consideration.

If I changed it to:

It seems that many in the welfare/projects/inner city hold the mentality that blacks are victims and deserve special consideration.

Would that make it non-racist?

Could I fairly add to that:

There is a cultural impetus among many black teenagers to not do well in school, the so called "white man's education".

1) Per capita, it is a fact....;)
Disprove it if you can.......;)

2) Can't go there......:2wave:
1) source please.

2) What do you mean you can't go there?

1) source please.

2) What do you mean you can't go there?

Disprove it if you can, but I grow weary of lazy people who don't feel like doing their own research.....:doh

Notes on teenagers

As the statistics show, teenage mothers comprise a very small part of the welfare population.

And contrary to popular belief, teenage pregnancy has declined in the last several decades. Many are surprised to learn that the height of teenage pregnancy in the U.S. actually occurred in the 1950s - a decade known for its supposed conservative social values. Between 1960 and 1992, the number of births per 1,000 teenagers (aged 15-19) declined from 89 to 61. (2)

However, this was also an era when individual welfare benefits declined. Between 1970 and 1991, the purchasing power of benefits for the typical AFDC family fell 42 percent, primarily as a result of state and federal cuts. (3) Ironically, many conservatives will be surprised to learn that their correlation still stands, even if they thought it was in the other direction.

However, the period from 1946 to 1963 is known as the "Baby Boom," because all childbearing age groups - not just teenagers - were having children at unusually high rates. The teenage birth rate is not the only one that has declined in the decades since.

Furthermore, the socially conservative 50s featured much less sex education, and many sexually active teenagers were ignorant of birth control. The falling teenage birthrates in the last several decades could as well be correlated with better sex education as falling individual welfare payments.

And on that score, we should compare the U.S to Europe, which not only promotes early sex education to a far greater degree, but also has far greater welfare benefits for mothers with dependent children. And the success or failure of these two very different policies can be seen in the following statistics:

Sexually active teenage population: (4)

Norway 66%
United States 65
United Kingdom 57
Germany 56
Canada 53
Italy 34
France 34

birth control:

Notes on race

Blacks comprise only 12 percent of the nation, but, according to the above figures, they comprise 37 percent of the welfare rolls. This should not be surprising; in 1994, blacks had a poverty rate of 33 percent. We should not, of course, think it unusual to find poor people on welfare. Consequently, discussions of race and welfare must turn on different issues.

The most prevalent question is why there are so many blacks in poverty. Liberals argue that it is the result of continuing racism and discrimination, especially at hiring time. Conservatives have argued a variety of other causes: moral shortcomings, poor work ethic, even intellectual inferiority. Another important question is whether welfare causes poverty.

Yes you could. You mite want to post some evidence to back it up though. That is of course unless you are stating it as opinion?

I am basing it on several documentaries I have seen that talk about how teenagers will harass black kids that do well in school and so in order to "fit in" many blacks will intentionally not study hard and get things wrong in class.

I went to an majority black high school. It was located in the projects of east Raleigh, NC. It was called Enloe: Enloe High School - [Enloe High School]. They made it the Magnet School for Wake County and I went there freshman and sophomore years. There was pressure on black kids to be cool and NOT do well in class. There were gangs. There were black-white fights. We got chased out of the projects and a friend of mine got cut in a fight. There were onyl a few blacks kids I knew that did well and they were strongly picked on by other black kids. It took real effort for them to be successful.

White kids experience something similar, but it is without the added racial message.

Excellent.

You are now a debate Jedi, lol.

Prove that Glen Beck spreads coded racism and that you're not spreading defamation.

The last few pages of this thread are just idiotic. People get laid off during a recession because it's a recession. When a company has to do across the board lay offs, they are generally going to look at seniority, positions and departmental budgets. No one has time to scrutinize every single employee for levels of skill. Anyone who has ever been laid off during a downsizing knows this.

If a company is taking a recession to target people of a specific race, well I think that speaks for itself.
