Yes, because systematic nation-wide discrimination against a group is exactly the same as one idiot making a stupid joke over a loudspeaker at walmart. How on earth could anyone oppose one without being equally outraged at the other?

Of course, we could flip it around and look at your positions - you're outraged that someone would make a joke like this, but you have no problem with policies that discriminate against people of a different sexual orientation. Hypocrisy much?
People sleep peaceably in their beds at night only because rough men stand ready to do violence on their behalf.

The code to dial the PA at wal-mart is readily available on the internet. Hell, sometimes their phone has a computer that will let you pick an extension, you can just dial the PA's extension from any phone in the world. Some idiot makes a prank, clearly wal-mart is not condoning the action. If it happened to be some dumbass teenage employee, they'll figure it out and can him.

    This is not lawsuit worthy...

I think they'd still find it funny if the announcement was "All people who put penises into their mouths must leave the store"

There's nothing funny about making such an announcement. I wouldn't take it as a joke whether the announcers had said white's, Asians, Italians, etc. There's nothing humorous about this.

Now, if there was some racist SOB running around in Walmart yelling that he would shot any black person he saw and the announcer made such an announcement, then I'd applaud the guy. But there's nothing redeeming nor funny about this incident.

I disagree. Although, I agree with the Rev. If it was the Irish it would have been even funnier. One of my favorite movie lines of all-time is the one from Blazing Saddles:

[ame="http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=boO4RowROiw"]YouTube- Blazing Saddles "We Don't Want the Irish!"[/ame]

    Right around 30 seconds.

I was watching the Olympics when it was in Sydney, and the politically correct reporter girl was talking about the female track competitors from Kenya and actually called them "african american africans". No ****.
