You would need to define "victim mentality" very clearly, but because of the attacking nature of the "tone" of that comment, probably.

It had everything to do with it. Just because you cannot see the comment for what it is makes no difference to anyone.

If it makes you sleep better at night you go for it.

The last few pages of this thread are just idiotic. People get laid off during a recession because it's a recession. When a company has to do across the board lay offs, they are generally going to look at seniority, positions and departmental budgets. No one has time to scrutinize every single employee for levels of skill. Anyone who has ever been laid off during a downsizing knows this.

If a company is taking a recession to target people of a specific race, well I think that speaks for itself.
