Yes I agree that the wars added fuel to the fire.

But what is so far fetched about it? We support their enemy. Anyone who supports terrorists is considered our enemy. I wouldn't put Israel and terrorists on the same level, but I'm simply saying that the enemy of the Palestinians is Israel and the Jews... and we support Israel.

An entity that invades your country, or an entity that supports a state which you do not agree with its existence - which would you oppose more?

Well...lets see...Israel DOES recieve a TON of suppport from the US...some might even say a disproportionate amount...and some might wonder why...

so...sure...I think its kinda a valid discussion.

BTW...I am NOT a zionist...and while I certainly believe PEOPLE (NOT necessarily Zionists) of Jewish decent play a significant role in the entertainment industry I dont know that I would say they CONTROL things.

I think we have a lot of Jewish folks in America and they contribute heavily to campaigns and make up a significant voting block. I dont see any conspiracy there...

Its not too long ago and people were convinced that Hollywood was run by communists...

First off, it's not the same source. You are referencing a different article than the one I referenced. That does not make them the same.

Second, Israel placed the Temple Mount under a Muslim Waqf in 1967, just as it had been since 1187.

Third, Israel bars Jews from entering the Temple Mount:

I would rather live in Israel than any Arab country. :shock:

I would rather break bread with a jewish person than a muslim. But I'll break bread with just about anyone willing to break bread with me.

But sometimes I could just spank Israel's government. I won't go into my damning opinions because frankly, I'm too busy spanking my own gubberment. :rofl I proudly confess that I care more about the United States of America than I do Israel. Or any other country for that matter.

All I got to say is I don't feel Israel's battle is my battle. And I'm tired of it being my battle, regardless. :roll:

And I find it amazing that a country/nation/state that is only 8630 sq. miles is, and has been, a MAJOR issue in world turmoil since I can remember.

But don't think for a minute that I don't count myself blessed to have had the oppertunity to get to know some Israeli people and Jewish people. I have yet to meet one I didn't like. (Can't say the same for the other Middle-eastern'ers though, but I digress.) I would be the first to stand beside a jewish friend and bitch-slap some anti-semetic skin-head type person shooting their mouth off. Those "joo-haters" are the scum of the earth IMO.

But can't we just wish Israel the best and get on with fixing our own problems here at home? And if Israel happens to be one of them, so be it.
