This is NOT the conspiracy theory forum. Is someone lost?

My point is... why split the land? Why not share it? How could you possibly split land that is considered holy to each side?

Because neither party is capable of sharing.

Then we should turn the whole lot into a nuclear disposal site. If they can't share, then no one gets it. Take the ball, go home.

How can you make two hostile people share a land?

I find the former to be much easier than the latter.
I assume you see it in the opposite direction?

And so you would just become the same nuclear disposal site.

    How would that help anything?

I think the valid parts have to deal with settlements in the West Bank. However, I think East Jerusalem is solely Israel's and should be recognized as that way. The US needs to see that the Palestinians are the largest blocker of peace, not the Israeli's. The Palestinians are far more stubborn and arrogant to budge, so the international community wants to push Israel to meet their negotiation standards. I don't think the US should blindly back Israel, but I also think we shouldn't cater to weakness and give in to Arab/Palestinian demands or push Israel to lowering their standards.

What do you believe Israel should be asked to do in the West Bank? What should we do if they don't start removing the questionable settlements?
