Democrats move toward grouping health reform with student-aid bill

Of course you completely over look the fact that for the last year the Dems could have passed this without one Republican voting for it. Ever wonder why they didn't? Or I should say, couldn't.

Notice how this question gets asked again and again in thread after thread......without a response? LOL

The current bill is a result of a long process of debate and "give-and-take" politics. It didn't settle into a definite form until recently, and even now it is still subject to new provisions. So, they couldn't have passed "this" bill -- the bill in its current form is the result of accumulated effort through several phases of discussion. Furthermore, any sufficiently comprehensive reform requires a long process of debating and "giving-and-taking", so an extended time frame is not inappropriate.

A prolonged process was the more desirable method.

here's the best place to put this

altho it's an EARTH SHATTERING development, it doesn't qualify as breaking news

Pelosi: 'Get The Bill. Go For It.'

pelosi, monday, quote: "nobody wants to vote for the senate bill"

that's it, there ya go

she has to pass reid's rendition verbatim in order to qualify for reconciliation, ruled the parliamentarian last week

if she changes a single dotted i, she has to go to conference

NANCY HAS TO GET REID'S BILL THRU THE HOUSE AS IS, EXACTLY AS IS, else it's dead

THE WHITE HOUSE YESTERDAY BACKED OFF IT'S PLEDGE TO PULL THE CORNHUSKER AND OTHER MISCREANT KICKBACKS

FOXNews.com - Obama Drops Objections to Sweetheart Deals as House Moves to Craft Health Care Fixes

which, who cares, you're not hearing me right

THE REAL SIGNIFICANCE of axelrod's latest maneuver is---THOSE POISON PILLS ARE PARTS OF THE PIECE

the white house really CAN'T remove them

not now, not at this stage, there's no time

can't do conference, and, so far as nuke option goes---"nobody wants to vote for the senate bill"

they've already FORGOTTEN (as they always do, it's been more than a day, y'know) their BRILLIANT little gambit about the STUDENT LOANS that was sposed to be their solution

"nobody wants to vote for the senate bill"

ouch

she's down to SLAUGHTER now

they're that desperate

sorry

in addition, our poor palsied speakeress echoes the incoherencies of her boss

altho the bill was originally conceived for ECONOMIC reasons, to reverse the cost trajectory, somehow it got all caught up in the pretty progressive promise to UNIVERSALIZE coverage

we extend coverage to 31 million americans, she repeatedly pushes

fine, ms p

but that's NOT the original conceit

you idiots up there in leadership, you really need to start getting your story straight

no wonder obama's ENITRE AGENDA is dead and he is ALREADY IRRELEVENT

don't blame me, don't blame boehner, don't blame mcconnell, don't blame rush, don't blame palin...

blame it on BECK!

LOL!
