Thought Wayne did his fair share as well, just not as bad as those two. Probably wrong though

A huge rap sheet of what? Drug possession charges? Please. What is on that "huge rap sheet" is of importance. Did he do armed robbery? Assault with a fire arm? Attempted murder? If those things are on there, I may agree with you. But a list of drug possession hardly makes one John Dillinger.

Fact of the matter is, I professed disgust at a law and you took the opportunity to jump on your high horse, stand that horse on your soap box, and launch into your anti-libertarian insults...again. Anyone who has seen enough of your posts knows you have a penchant for the melodramatic when it comes to your uncontrolled hostility and anger towards libertarians.

Translation - You are legally allowed to have a gun to protect yourself, as long as you keep it in such a condition that, if you are attacked, you are unable to load it in time to save your own life. And if, by some miracle, you ARE able to somehow load it, and drop the attacker before he kills you, then you go to prison, because you now have a loaded gun.

Yup, THAT is typical government logic. LOL.

Again as an American he has the right to keep and bear arms.
"A nation can survive its fools, and even the ambitious. But it cannot survive treason from within. An enemy at the gates is less formidable, for he is known and carries his banner openly. But the traitor moves amongst those within the gate freely, his sly whispers rustling through all the alleys, heard in the very halls of government itself. For the traitor appears not a traitor; he speaks in accents familiar to his victims, and he wears their face and their arguments, he appeals to the baseness that lies deep in the hearts of all men. He rots the soul of a nation, he works secretly and unknown in the night to undermine the pillars of the city, he infects the body politic so that it can no longer resist. A murder is less to fear"

This is one more thing he needs to add in.

I really can't believe you can get in trouble for simply having a loaded gun, and a felony no less.

I know this is bad, but I don't care if he was sentenced for eating macaroni and cheese with ketchup. I hate Lil Wayne.

Unfortunately, this will make him sell even more records because in the rap world, the more stupid **** you do, the more records you sell.

Possession of an unloaded firearm is actually also a crime, it's just 4th degree instead of 3rd degree. That makes it an A misdemeanor instead of a D felony.

Also, re: his prior convictions, do you know if any of them were felonies? I can't imagine that they were, otherwise he would have been charged as a felon in possession which is much harder. I could be wrong though.
People sleep peaceably in their beds at night only because rough men stand ready to do violence on their behalf.

I usually don't get to worked up about gun control and I am not someone who really cares if they make laws against military type guns, but that is ridiculous.
