On the downside i dislike NY's gunlaws.

On the plus side maybe I'll hear a little less autotune.

    It evens out

    You're thinking of T-Pain & Kanye West.

Hey Weezy. After you get out of jail, come to Houston, where you will be welcome, and you will also get to carry your gun without fear of going to jail. And, if someone tries to break into your tour bus, feel free to blow his ass away.

    Article is here.
I don't get what he did wrong. He had a gun on his bus? Was he threatening people with it? Was he waving it around? Discharging it randomly into the air? What actual crime is there?

Wait...what!? Some BS gun law, and now he's a felon? This is why this **** has all got to come with expiration dates.

NYC's gun laws are based on bigotry anyway.

Section 265.02 Criminal possession of a weapon in the third degree

A person is guilty of criminal possession of a weapon in the third degree when:

    ...

    (4) Such person possesses any loaded firearm. Such possession shall not, except as provided in subdivision one or seven, constitute a violation of this section if such possession takes place in such person's home or place of business

Criminal possession of a weapon in the third degree is a class D felony.

Well, for one he had a loaded gun. For two he has a wrap sheet on illegal drug possession half a mile long. So no. He is not a felon simply because he had a gun. He is a felon now because like most retarded celebrities he thought he was above the law. Now hit us all with your latest arrangement of the words 'liberty' 'freedom' 'statist' and/or 'authoritarian'. I'm sure you already have one.

As an American he has the constitution right to keep and bear arms.

He should lose constitutional rights because of a criminal past?
"A nation can survive its fools, and even the ambitious. But it cannot survive treason from within. An enemy at the gates is less formidable, for he is known and carries his banner openly. But the traitor moves amongst those within the gate freely, his sly whispers rustling through all the alleys, heard in the very halls of government itself. For the traitor appears not a traitor; he speaks in accents familiar to his victims, and he wears their face and their arguments, he appeals to the baseness that lies deep in the hearts of all men. He rots the soul of a nation, he works secretly and unknown in the night to undermine the pillars of the city, he infects the body politic so that it can no longer resist. A murder is less to fear"

If he used a gun as part of his criminal past, he should lose his rights. Otherwise, he should retain them.
