Sorry to burst your partisan bubble but I'm not "the right". I'm an independent with a libertarian lean. That means I'm fiscally conservative and socially liberal and eschew political parties.

Not everyone who opposes the radical left and their anti-American agenda is a Republican right-winger. The US is a center-right nation and Obama et al. are radical leftists, so it's only natural for many independents to oppose him.

This is a contrast from the majority of economic analyst's expectations. Even with the snow storm that blanketed much of the Northeast (and shut down DC), the unemployment rate held strong signaling some upward pressure in the labor market. Of course the census has provided a helping hand, but in the coming months i expect job creation to gain some serious momentum (especially with a jobs bill or three )
The census will have an increasing impact on employment throughout the spring if it follows historical patterns as well, although this alone would probably only drop unemployment .1-.2%.

No, the success of the country depends on Obama's failure to ram his radical leftist agenda through. His failure is a victory for America.

I believe we fall in a similar category, socially liberal and fiscally conservative... probably different degrees.

Calling Obama a "radical leftist" is like calling Bush a radical rightist. It puts you squarely in the nutter category. Sorry...

The economy has a large effect on any president's popularity. So you are right.

holding steady at nine point seven percent is GOOD NEWS!

    LOL!

one full year after passage of the 862 billion dollar STIMULUS (the word obama and dem leadership can never again utter) which we were all PROMISED would hold unemployment at EIGHT PERCENT

this second STIMULUS which can't be called a STIMULUS has been pared down by hassled harry to 15 cents

    how's that gonna accomplish anything?

    9.7%---hooray!

    underemployment CLIMBED to 16.8

nonfarm payrolls dropped for the 25th time in 26 months

harrassed harry actually said on the floor this morning, "only 36,000 people lost their jobs today, which is really good"

    LOL!

    what an idiot

Yes, Obama must fail to turn the economy around otherwise the party of NO will never regain the power to do more, of nothing, except give tax money to the private sector. Screw the Americans who will suffer, as long as the GOP gets back into power, right? What a patriot...
