I would be very interested to see what other clubs were disbanded. I'll bet that we'll notice a definite PC tone to the decisions.

In the lawsuit, the plaintiffs state that the defendants used vague and unwritten criteria for determining whether or not the Ichthus Club was eligible to exist at the plaintiff's school.

Whether or not the school practiced religious discrimination I do not know. However, in the USA a party accused of wrongdoing is considered innocent until proven guilty. That policy applies to the defendants in the aforementioned lawsuit. I hope that Christians won't use a double standard by assuming guilt until proven innocent.
Have you even read the court case you are urging others to read?

If you had you wouldn't be so quick to jump on the bandwagon of the school.

Here are some facts from the lawsuit:

There are over 60 active clubs on campus

In 2005 when they tried to start the Christian club, they were denied repeatedly and only when they hired a lawyer did the school finally give in.

Then the school began to cancel their meetings citing "conflicts" in the schedule. This went on for months. Clearly an attempt to attack the organizational power of the club.

When they disbanded the club they gave no reason and it wasn't until they were pressed they claimed "fiscal management" and "lack of participation" despite the fact they had 55 members and 90 students who signed a petition that the club should be reinstated.

The students even offered to pay for ALL expenses and still the school board denied the reinstatement of the club and instead said they could meet at another high school.

They even proposed to reduce their meetings to bi weekly to cut down on the "cost" the school was complaining about and still were denied.

These are very reasonable negotiation points this club tried in good faith to make and the school still denied them.

Then the school claimed they would deny it due to "enrollment standards" but then refused to explain what those standards were even to repeated public requests.

This is classic anti-Christian behavior from an obviously discriminatory school board hell bent on denying these kids their right to form a club.

If that were true then why did they have to hire a lawyer just to get the club started? Explain that.

What I mean is that white christians act like the entire world is out to get them, that the entire world hates everything that christians do, that they're some poor persecuted minority that can't defend themselves.

If you think a white christian man has it rough in America, open your eyes.

I don't hate christians at all. I have several good friends who are devoutly religious. Hearing them talk about how same-sex marriage is "radical movement trying to impose its agenda on them" drives me nuts, though. You guys understand it is presently your agenda imposed on others, right?

Excuse me, but how do you think I know what the plaintiffs are saying about vague and unwritten criteria?

I did read the lawsuit filed, but I also know that what I read is just one side of the argument. I haven't read or heard the other side's argument as presented by the other side.

The defendant in any lawsuit is innocent until proven guilty in a court of law, and the Internet isn't a court of law.

If a case of religious discrimination is proven in a court of law, then I expect the defendants to be justly punished. However, such a case has not yet been proven in a court of law. So, I will not pass judgement on the defendants in the aforementioned lawsuit.

Thank you for presenting these points so well.
