GM to shut down Hummer

People are arguing about trucks and snow, but seriously, have you ever seen an H2 driving on anything but dry pavement, or with more than ONE occupant?

H2's are purchased by rich assholes with something to compensate for.

If you have equipment or boats to haul, snow to wade through, a farm to drive around, or any other heavy-duty vehicle requirement, you buy an F-150 or similar vehicle. I've never seen a farmer with an H2.

Trucks are not useless vehicles, they have their role. It's the guys who drive a Suburban or H2 50 miles every day on dry highway to do office work by themselveswho are idiots. They're wasting a limited natural resource and raising the cost for all of us.

Sounded more like a severe case of envy to me.... or, If I can't afford what I want, nobody should be able to get what they want either....
 
damn,that sucks. I've wanted one for years, but just couldn't swing it. I sure as **** wish I had one right now after getting another foot of snow here on top of the feet we already had. If I had a hummer, I might actually be able to get out of my ****ing driveway.

Thats Rangies. Not Defenders. Your late versions of the Range Rover is pretty much the UK version of the H2. High on comfort and utility for the "Horsey" crowd, but not serious contenders for driving through swamps.

This has nothing to do with political crap. This is about a overgrown SUV that isn't selling. Hummers are in the same line of the yuppie SUV for nervous nellies who want a half ton of steel wrapped around them as they are so afraid of getting hit. It is a wonder they just dont sit in an airbag and ride down the freeway. SUVs were all a joke as they are simply a car slapped on a pickup frame giving the wimp driving it some false sensation of being in a tank. In reality the 7 passenger van is more safe than the fortress SUV.

Hate to tell you this, but there's not a vehicle made that weighs "half a ton". Even the smallest cars weigh close to a ton.
