Re: Family Guy’ Voice Actor Says Palin ‘Does Not Have a Sense of Humor’

Jesus Christ! You people will blow anything out of proportion. I like to think most people who lean a little to the right have more sense than half of the people on this forum taking offense to this. People talk ****, people make jokes, get the **** over it. This not only includes Sarah Palin, but everyone else who is hurt by this. This is the real world people. There is NOTHING you can do, to stop people from acting this way. If you do NOT like the show, do not watch it! People with down syndrome will get made fun of, is it right? Is it wrong? That is moral relativism. It is subjective. For example, I just got done watching One Flew Over the Coocoo's nest. Mentally ill people are made fun of in the whole movie, but you know what? When you watch it, you laugh. Does that make it wrong?

Family Guy makes jokes, most all of them can and are offensive to certain types of people. They could make an episode about premature people and how apparently according to some we are only "half baked" etc, and can't operate like normal human beings. **** it, who cares. I was born 3.5 months premature and very likely was going to have CP. But I only have a mild form of it. I am small for my age, my IQ is only 122, and I suck at math... if someone wants to make fun of me, go for it, I really don't give a **** and neither should anyone else. Get over it. Palin is NOT fit to be President or even VP, anyone who even slightly cares about this country should be ashamed of themselves if they think otherwise. And before anyone suggests in any way shape or form if I am a supporter of Obama, or if I voted for him, let me save you some time, you are wrong.

You people probably want to have shows like this cancelled or censored, it's people like you that allow governments to gain so much control that we have to watch what we say for fear of Big Brother watching us.

I think you have said some interesting things that people should keep in mind. I also think that you have overstated yourself and have overstated the positions of the people here who are angry. I certainly would not argue for moral relativism, because of its reckless consequences. One Flew Over the Coocoo's Nest may or may not be an exaggeration of types of mental illness, but the essential difference between the two programs is that one makes you root for the minority, whereas in Family Guy that is not usually the purpose. Now, as for the people you seem to disagree with, they are criticizing the program and the scene. It would be quite ridiculous to accuse them of being like totalitarians.

Yeah, I was just so tired and so angry, my bad if I offended ya Fiddy, or anyone. It's just it seems to me this is a lot of nothing. But to each their own I guess. I just know there is quite a bit of people who want to censor t.v. shows, and this wouldn't be the first time Family Guy got cancelled, but I doubt it will go that far. The question is, what if Sarah Palin had been the V.P of Mccain and he died, and than she became President and Family Guy had said this, what than? Would she really take time out of her day of work to criticize a T.V show? I mean that is a hypothetical of course, but imagine...

Really, I am tired of Palin. I am tired of her "poor victimized me and my family", tired of her constant whining and bitching, tired of everything she does. Some one get back to me when she does something of note, and does not simply bitch because soandso is not PC enough(despite her being against PC), or some one made fun of her and she don't like it. Then I might care. Right now, I am burnt out on her bigtime. I really wish she would get out of the spotlight for awhile, but I doubt she will before Nov 2012.
So you wonder why everyone bitches about Palin, and then you proceed to do it yourself.

Good question that deserves an answer.
