Texas man flies plane into IRS building

Thanks, what this thread was really missing was your uninformed, erroneous, and juvenile claims.

The guy's suicide note railed against the "monsters" of organized religion, the "presidential puppet of George W. Bush and his cronies," and signed off by lambasting communism and capitalism in turn.

Whatever this guy is, he's not emblematic of any particular ideology. To claim otherwise is just asinine. Can't someone just be a crazy without it turning into the blame game?

I thought teabaggers are leftwing homosexuals who engage in perverted behavior

goes hand in hand with hating Bush and Christians

That would have been even better if there was a school that teaches you how to fly next to it.

It was a satirical comment.

No those are college students you are thinking about. Mostly in fraternities.

edit: ..... wait a minute.

Re: Plane crashes into Northwest Austin building (that houses the FBI)

The pilot's name was Joseph Andrew Stack.

Well...at least now we know it wasn't Obama. Obama would hire a minority to fly a plane into a building.

Re: Plane crashes into Northwest Austin building (that houses the FBI)

So you believe American Soldiers are enemies, enlightenning.

When you wear the SAME UNIFORM as your targets.... it's terrorism.

Nice try buddy.

Actually it's called friendly fire a la french....

Re: Plane crashes into Northwest Austin building (that houses the FBI)

I never said this was terrorism, did I? I am merely pointing out his mental state. I doubt if he was part of any organized terrorist network.

If there was a worthy target of domestic terrorism, I'd say the IRS as a target that would gain a lot of sympathy from the average American. ;)

Wow...So, you're saying there are legitimate terrorist targets for Americans? And flying planes into buildings is an appropriate response to that with which you disagree?

A right wing terrorist being defended by the right.. how poetic is that..

I dunno that somewhat puts him in the fascist column or could be a LaRaochie.

Jesus Fing Christ, do you even bother to read threads....or information linked off threads....or ANYTHING before spouting off with your ignorant baseless hyper partisan comments? I think Right already put you and your kind in their place before you even posted your pathetically predictable pontification.

:doh
Ah, but there IS no worthy target for terrorism, that's the catch. Terrorism is a grave evil, even if directed at the IRS.

Okay: I was just making sure. Because, yea - the IRS sucks. But taking violent aim at the people who work there isn't the way to alter the tax code.

That's correct.

If you had read even one scintilla of information on this story you would not have said something so incredibly stupid.

Read, then post. Thanks.

Uh, no, he's one of you. LOL

But nice reading comprehension, btw.

He's not one of either. This is as idiotic and pathetically hyper partisan as Hautey's

The guys manifesto has traits that could be attributed to both the right and left but above all the guy was just a self-pitying crazy ass. Trying to say he's either sides "one" is absolutely ridiculous

Yeah, it wasn't a left or right wing manifesto, it was a "I committed crimes but blame everyone else for the consequences" manifesto.

I know, but I was playing along with PeteEU. He took it that way rather directly.

So he failed at cheating IRS, so he failed at life, no-wing is going to support this deliberate action. The side add made me lawl though!

We now know the IRS worker who was killed in the attack on an office building in Austin. He was Vernon Hunter, a 67-year old Revenue Office Manager. He was responsible for collections. His wife, Valerie also works for the IRS and was in the same building when the attack happened. They have six grown children who live outside of Austin and who are flying in to be with their mother.

Re: Plane crashes into Northwest Austin building (that houses the FBI)

He sounds like he was in a similar mental state as a Mid East terrorist. He was suicidal and at the end of his rope, with a clearly identifiable enemy, the IRS. He was probably about to lose his house too, so he burned it to keep the bank from getting anything out of it, since the banks, too, were in the enemy camp.

Does this mean we shouldn't be calling this guy crazy or a nutjob or even blaming him but instead attempting to look inwards to see what American Policies caused the blow back that caused this man to take such extreme issues.

Quick, someone, go grab Ron Paul. We must examine how U.S. policy caused this man to do this! ;)

Whats the odds he was a big Glenn beck fan.

Gee, the internet is full of people trying to pin this guy on someone else's ideology? I'm shocked.
