How about people paying their damn taxes! It's not difficult.
What about people who gt their houses siezed on account of penalties and interest, with no tax liability?

Obviously most of you have never had a run in with the IRS. Just wait!

No, but he's in charge of it's intepretation and he is always right...according to the law.

I said "most people probably." I don't know how you could possibly interpret that as a statement of fact.

The tax code is just like any other law, it's open to interpretation.
Oh, so as long as you think you shouldn't have had to pay that extra money, then you didn't actually underpay. Interesting logic.

My dad said his two fears in life were outliving his children and being audited by the IRS. Guess who came knocking a few years ago? He said it was the worst week of his life, but he came out only paying a little bit.

The IRS agent was pretty hot, at least.

You would have been jumping up-n-down for proof of that exact statement if anyone else would have made it.

Do you take writeoffs? Or do you look at your gross and just pay the taxes on that?

    And, yes, that's exactly right.

You're arguing that Obama's officials should have had their homes seized or been thrown in jail for doing the same thing that you did?

Did you have your home seized?
    Were you thrown in jail?

It's like watching someone call Teddy a drunk while finishing a bottle of scotch - just surreal.

I would rather take an ass-whippin' than go through an IRS audit.

The same thing I did? I never evaded taxes. Be careful with the accusations.

I didn't go four years without paying taxes, like the head honcho of the IRS did.
