Wife of man accused of crashing plane into building apologizes

    February 19, 2010 2:26 p.m. EST

Austin, Texas (CNN) -- The wife of a man officials say crashed his small airplane into an Internal Revenue Service office in Texas expressed her "sincere sympathy to the victims and their families" Friday.

"Words cannot adequately express the sorrow or the sympathy I feel for everyone affected by this unimaginable tragedy," Sheryl Stack said in a statement read by a family friend, Rayford Walker.

The msm is trying like crazy to attach this guy to the tea party movement.

Never mind that his rant was pro-communisim, anti-business, and anti-Bush.

Well alot of what ive seen from Glenn beck is constantly talking about the government taking over and various conspiracy style theorys, often with little or no evidence. Is it that ridiculous to suggest a mentally unstable individual may be encouraged to commit extreme acts, partially as a result of listening to such ideas.

Thats doesent mean i believe he should be fired or anything. However i would like to think people who do watch his show will allow this to maybe put into perspective how extreme their own views should be.

If you had read his manifesto you would have seen that his issues regarding the IRS predate Glenn Beck's arrival on the national scene by many years.

God the idiocy going on in this thread. Not wasting my time repeating this, so just going to repost from another thread

The guy seemed to be extremely anti-bush of which people accuse Beck of being a shill for, anti "big corporation" which people accuse Beck of being a shill for, and seem to be in favor of government health care of which Bell is accused of being a shill against. If Glenn Beck truly was any kind of influence on this guy with his rhetoric, enough to have ANY kind of affect on helping spur something like this, then you'd think he'd have SOME kind of affect on all the rest of that too.
Who gives a damn if some stupid insane **** liked Glenn Beck or anything else. He's one out of potentially millions of people who did something insane, with absolutely zero evidence that even if he was a fan of any controversial host that it had anything to do with what he did, so why should it even matter.

    Why?

Because people have political agendas and god knows you can't let a tragedy go to waste.

Yes, Glenn Beck has roughly from what I've seen 2 to 3 million viewers. Lets hope that THIS somehow puts into perspective that their disagreements with the government shouldn't be so extreme that they fly a plane into a building. Because, you know, there were probably hundreds of thousands of his viewers planning on doing just this type of thing but thank god this will put it into perspective for them....

What we really need is some way to identify people with extreme views and put them in schools to help them put their views into perspective. Obviously we can't let people with dangerous ideas just run around willy-nilly.

    Also anti-IRS, anti-Congress, and even anti-Catholic. Teabagger!

Well i never suggested thousands of people are going to do something similar. All im saying is if you create such a somewhat manic movement things like this will happen.Im surprised one of the 9/11 troofers hasnt done something similar.

Can I be forgiven for thinking Glenn beck is just a little over the edge in someways?

Beck may be over the edge sometimes, but if he's over the edge this guy has discovered a way to have Looney Toons physics and is standing in the air over the chasm. No matter how far extreme Glenn Beck is he can't touch this guy.

Not to mention that, as always said, its idiotic to even think that Beck's "movement", which isn't even his, is even tied to this guy. His rhetoric, outside of his displeasure with the IRS, isn't really in line with Beck's views. To think he had ANY significant influence in this, or could spur something like this, one would have to somehow believe that a singular facet of Beck's message was driven home to an absolute extreme while every single other message of Beck's was outright rallied AGAINST.

It was nothing but a worthless political dig at a guy you don't like based on nearly zero facts from the reality of this case. I understand your dislike for Beck, but no one has shown any good reason yet why it is even remotely related to this situation.
