It's consistent with their responsibilities to protect against and/or prevent further danger from aloft.

Stack took off from small airfield, Georgetown Municipal Airport 20 -25 miles N. of crash.

It looks like he had a beef with the IRS over 1706, defining whether a person is an employee or a contractor. He definitely wasn't alone in that, as it has been confusing to both the IRS and everyone else.

Of course, it doesn't excuse committing suicide and taking a bunch of other people with him. That's a coward's exit.

It certainly wasn't just an "accident" as you suggested. I knew deep down it had to be intentional because if you've ever been on the outskirts of Austin, there's LOTS of room to crash land an airplane if you have to.
    Yes, definitely is.

Immediately after the crash a nearby Binswanger Glass Company truck was driving by and the driver, Robin Dehaven, used his ladder to enter the building and evacuate 5 survivors of the incident. (Fox News interview)

The jets were launched at 1142 ET, about 1 hour after the crash occurred.

Local authorities on the ground are calling this an "isolated incident" saying "there is no further need for alarm."

I never suggested it was an accident.

In this case it'd be a shame for any conservative to try and blame Obama, especially before any facts came out, for something like this. That said, I'm not going to start scolding people for doing something that's purely theoritical stated by a guy who just grossly stereotyped all conservatives.

If someone actually does try to do it then conservatives should call their own on the absurdity of it. But so far that's not happened.

How could this be Obama's fault? o.O

    NORAD begs to differ:

Pilot Crashes Into Texas Building in Apparent Anti-IRS Suicide - Local News | News Articles | National News | US News - FOXNews.com

A pilot furious with the Internal Revenue Service crashed his small plane into an Austin, Texas, office building where nearly 200 federal tax employees work on Thursday, ignited a raging fire that sent massive plumes of thick, black smoke rising from the seven-story structure

Officials are investigating whether the pilot, identified as Joseph Andrew Stack, a 53-year-old software engineer, crashed the plane intentionally. Stack was confirmed dead.

At least one person who worked in the building was unaccounted for and two people were hospitalized, said Austin Fire Department Division Chief Dawn Clopton.

    .
It's sad that people get to the point they can't think straight. There must be a few good people working for the IRS that this nut put in jeopardy.

I hope the missing person turns up okay and the injured recover.

He could not have been in his right mind or he would have stolen a much larger plane and done some serious damage.

Government can make you crazy. Especially these days.
