I don't have a shred of doubt that should they get too uncomfortable, they'll do what they did with Osiraq and the Syrian site in 07. They've been remarkably consistent in their policy on these matters.

They give Hezbollah approx. $100m a year.

You guys are missing the point. Once you get a working nuke, you're protected. Hence the desire to do it quickly and secretly.

It seems the cat is out of the bag, so to speak.....
The real shame is that it never really was a secret, unless an individual had nothing but air between his ears....

How are we missing the point? The point is that if Israel believes that Iran is making substantial progress toward developing a nuke, it will take military action to prevent that. It's not like Iran can complete the bomb before anyone figures out that they're even close.

Yeah, nobody was under any illusion that they wouldn't try. We still need a location to blow something up, though.

    No they won't.

Given that that's exactly what they did the last two times a neighboring state made progress toward a bomb, why do you say they won't?

Because attacking Iran now would destabilize the entire region, which would be incredibly detrimental to Israel. Especially with the political position that Iran has in the region, it would essentially be suicide.
