Do I blame them for being victims? Not really, but we as adult women do have to own the fact that we can greatly increase our odds of being raped by being stupid.
What's being stupid? Drunkenly going home with a stranger isn't that uncommon, you know...

If you get screwed in a business deal. It is your fault for trusting others when you should have been paying attention. If you get raped after you "started" it. It is their fault?

What's why? That you can't believe it?

How do you know any better than a poll what the women of the UK think about rape?

There are good polls and bad polls.

So now you're implying that women should psychically know who all the rapists are in the world and refrain from 'poking them with sticks'?

So being an attractive woman is 'poking a rapist with sticks' and 'doing something wrong', now?

I'm surprised you don't advocate forcing women to wear burquas. I mean, we wouldn't want to do anything 'wrong' by being visibly attractive.

    Uh, no. I disagree.

As a responsible teenage girl, you can go out on date with a boy you've known for years. He's driving, goes somewhere OTHER than what he'd told you previously and proceeds to overpower you and rape you.

You scream for him to stop, no, bite, scratch and kick. Nothing stops him and in fact, this seems to drive him further and further past the point of rationality.

He finishes, takes the responsible teenage girl home.

So. This is her fault as well as his?

    I don't think so.
