For about 4 of the 5 types of rapists, it is indeed about sex.

    typologies
that would be 2 of 5. the first 3 aren't about sex. and really, the sadististic part isn't either.

Or for sleeping with married men. 99.9% of the things said to me roll off my back and I really, I mean *really* don't give a **** when people try to insult me.

But my rape? By a good and trusted friend of mine and HIS friend? My being drugged and raped repeatedly by the both of them while my female best friend watched? That is something I will not, I mean will NOT tolerate being told is somehow MY fault. If you persist with this ****ing bull****, then consider our friendship here finit.
What can I say, I'd go ****ing ballistic. People would die. It seems you turned the other cheek, and I never did understand why people do that.

You got ****ed (no pun intended). If there's nothing you could have don in your particular case, then it is what it is.

That doesn't mean every other rape is exactly like yours. That doesn't mean women don't ever do stupid ****. That doesn't mean there aren't things other women in other situations couldn't do better to reduce their risks.

You were in a no-win, but other women may have ways out. If a woman did everything she could have and still lost, then that person is not to blame at all, on any level.

That's IF she did everything she could have...

    rape is the ultimate degradation.

There are times that fighting back is NOT the best course of action. That is up for the victim to decide. And regardless, the act is STILL not her fault and she is STILL not to blame - no matter WHAT.

Wrong. Some people get sexual pleasure from sadism. That's still sex. The first type wants to think he's "dating" his victim and giving her sexual pleasure.

You've bought one of the inaccurate myths about rape (that it is never about sex). More often than not, it is. It's not ONLY about sex, but sex is definitely a key part.
