-He hid this policy point until after the election.

Either way, your denial of the fact that The Obama public supported the AWB before and during the campain verges on willful ignorace -- a rather interesting condition, given that this particular subject, you say, is irrelevant to the topic.

I really thought you could have proved it with words from Obama or Biden. If you would have been following along the person I was responding to tried making the topic political when it wasnt. They stated the Obama Biden ticket was the most antigun in history disregarding Bill Clinton and Dukakis who lost the support of Texas because of his strict gun law support. The fact remains no this wasnt the most antigun ticket and second Obama has nothing to do with this thread.

Biden voted for every restriction on gun rights that have come up for a vote while he was in the senate. He was a main sponsor of the contion Gun ban. Yes Obama and Biden had the most anti gun records in history when they formed the ticket and thus the ticket was the most anti gun major ticket in US history. I am unaware of Clinton sponsoring any gun bans or voting for any in arkansas. Gore, as a senator was an NRA A candidate. Dukakis was bad but again, he had less anti gun votes than Biden or Obama (he was a governor)

No evasion. You couldn't prove your point let alone what any of this has to do with the topic. You do remember that Clinton ran again in 96 after doing the assault weapons bill in 94 right? You're generalizing trying to claim Obama and Biden was the most antigun in history. Obama and Biden didn't talk about gun control on the campaign. You are unaware that after passing the assault weapon ban in 94 that Clinton ran again for president in 96 or you're just being dishonest? I'll ask you this though, how has your ability to buy and own a gun been hindered by Obama as president?

More generalizing. Saying that they were the most anti gun ticket in history compared to a guy who thought normal civilians shouldn't own guns is ridiculous. The ticket you speak of was the campaign so again what during their campaign focused on gun control? There are candidates who actually ran on gun control, Bill clinton who actually passed the act you call a jihad and ran again in 96 had more on his record than Obama and Biden.

But again I ask you what does this have to do with the topic?

More intelligent people actually talk about things that have to do with the topic than derailing threads on DP. I guess you fit into the less intelligent category.

Threads tend to evovle. The fact is the topic about some nutso Harvard trained loon shooting people has been beaten to death. The only remaining issue is whether she gets crispy or extra crispy

the funny thing is that she was a far left obama slurper-the sort of people who almost always support restrictive gun laws concerning honest citizens.

I agree that her politics had nothing to do with her alleged murder and assault. It is the irony of far left whackos using a gun illegally that is the topic of conversations

How did I start the derailing my unlearned young apprentice She is far left, she was reported to be a hard core Obama-tard. that makes her far left IMHO. I never said all libs are anti gun. radical (he called himself a communist) attorney Ron Kuby drove a car in law school sporting the bumper sticker "When guns are outlawed I will be an outlaw" He was the one who helped me get a NY carry permit.

However, the fact is, Democrat politicians -especially the ones seen as "liberal" Vs say Blue Dog dems-GENERALLY support gun bans. East coast and west coast dems (and Chicago) tend to be the main sponsors of gun bans.

I posted who was a co sponsor of the revival of the clinton gun ban and every sponsor was a dem-and most of them were what we call the left wing side of that party

Obama didn't have many bills he voted on gun related in the Senate. Hence Kerry had more gun control votes.

Obama voted on 1 measure:

Voted NO on prohibiting lawsuits against gun manufacturers.

Edwards voted on:

Voted YES on background checks at gun shows.
Voted NO on more penalties for gun & drug violations.
Voted NO on loosening license & background checks at gun shows.

So using your math Kerry & Edwards had more gun control votes than Obama Biden. Then again this is the same crap you guys pull every time a democrat runs. Call him the most "liberal" "most antigun" etc. Its not true now nor was it then.
