Leave it up to the Canadians to create a luge death trap and fail to light a fire properly.

Nice start to your games, Canucks. They should cancel the rest now.

Do you ever do your homework?

The guy who designed the track is German, and he has designed 6 other Olympic courses.

Epic fail. Think before you stink.

No men are anywhere, and Im allowed to go in, because Im the owner of the pageant and therefore Im inspecting it, Trump said... Is everyone OK? You know, theyre standing there with no clothes. Is everybody OK? And you see these incredible looking women, and so I sort of get away with things like that.

Why should the cancel the rest now? What they should do is find a fix to the luge track and just continue on.

There is no back up track

Canada has two world class luge/bobsleigh tracks the one in Vancover and one in Calgary

It would be impossible to get everything arranged in Calgary to substitute for the Van track

The only thing that can be done to fix the track is bring in more fences to keep competitors away from dangerous area's like in skiing

And possibly to slow the ice down ( not sure how that would happen and be consistant for all competitors

Apparently his death was not a result of the track. Probe: track didn't cause luger's death - 2010 Olympics - Yahoo! Sports I don't really know if I believe it.

Yeah, if the track was safe then why are they making these changes? I can't say I'm impressed with VANOC's response, or VANOC in general.
