Guards stand by during brutal attack

Your sexism is part of the problem in our society.

Your feeble analysis just became part of the problem in this thread. This has nothing to do with sexism at all unless you can indicate where I stated females should be held to a different standard.

Go ahead, I will wait for your answer before wasting time answering the rest of this drivel.

She might have a shank, you don't know. You gonna bet you life that she doesn't?

There are things worth dieing for, but protecting some little brat that's too stupid to stay out of jail isn't one of them.

What the hell dude? Did you just call the girl who got beat up a brat? That is seriously why I can't stand conservatives, just because someone is in their teens does not make them brats or stupid. We all were young once.

Violent savage would be a more apt description......;)

Your use of the term "man" implies that these are male qualities, when in fact they have nothing to do with being a man. Even if you think a brave female can be a "real man" you are implying that being a "man" is something to aspire to. When in reality it only means you have gonads.

They have everything to do with being a man. Male and man do not always equate just like female and woman aren't necessarily the same either.

In this case, these security guards happened to be males but they were not men.

Being a man is something to aspire to as well as being a woman. Take for instance, rivrrat. She is all woman.

If more people had the attitude to aspire to more rather than make excuses for weak apathy like your post did...perhaps we would have more men and women in our society instead of mealy mouthed, weak males and females.

My guess is that they are useless......;)

duh...i should have thought of that:roll::lol: just trying to figure out the train of thought that led to that being the first question that would come to mind for him

Hmm let me check my dictionary:

There it is. Your sexist views are obsolete. I suggest you re-examine your chauvinistic values.

That did not answer the first point in my post. All you did is just announce that you have a total inability to understand nuance in language.

Read the dictionary. It explains the difference between male and man. A man is an adult male. It has no requirements for courage or bravery, or sexual proclivity, or the ability to drink large quantities of beer and belch loudly.

It's easy to say that when you're not the one that might get your ass kicked some mean, greasy as convict.

I don't much blame these dudes, I wouldn't risk my life for minimum wage, either.

BULL****!

They took the damn job, they were obligated to DO the damn job.

If they didn't like the job, they should have quit.

All three of them should be sued for everything they own, including their skid-marked underwear, and if there's a criminal charge available, they should be tried in court.

I watched the video and it was just two girls fighting, so what? Happens all the time. Granted, the security guards should have broken up the fight, but why is this such a huge deal? They were minors, I would have been worried about getting in between two minors myself with the overreactions and zero tolerance we have today.

Next thing you know the security guards would be getting arrested and sued for manhandling to minors.

Don't bother telling me that would not have happened. It happens all the time frivolous or not.

Wrong.

He who can't belch isn't a man.

Denotation and Connotation

Learn to love it.

So again, all you've done is announce your lack of ability to understand nuance in language.

That's not necessarily something you should be proud of in a forum that is all about communication. Just sayin'.

Hello?

What crime did the victim commit?

You don't know what you are talking about. The original article states that they were hired to "observe and report" and told not to interfere. They were doing their job. You contradict your own opinion with your first statement.

What's the point of having security guards, if they're not going to provide security for anybody? In Vancouver the public transit system has it's own full fledged police force. Employing so-called security guards and not having them protect anybody is unacceptable.

I'm guessing that if one of them whipped out a can of spray paint they'd have been flattened on the floor in seconds.

We don't know. She may have even started it. All we know for certain is two young girls got into a fight and the security did not break it up for whatever reason.

Anything else is just speculation.

No, they were hired to do a job.

If they hire on a "security guards" and allow children to be viciously beaten in front of them, then they need to lay their detachable dicks on the rails to see how flat the trains make them.

Again, I understand your meaning and object to your sexist choice of words.

There was nothing sexist about it. It happened to be gender specific because the people involved were... of a specific gender. Who'da thunk? What do you want me to do? Apologize for your attempt at deflecting from my points by making it about sexism when it never was?

That's not going to happen.

No, this has nothing to do with anyone's penis. They need to update their intervention policy, unless there is a good reason to avoid conflict. Which they will probably do. But regardless, it was not the fault of the three guards in the area, it was the fault of whoever decided upon that policy, and our entire society that tends to let people get away with these things.
