TEHRAN, Iran — President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad claimed Thursday that Iran has produced its first batch of uranium enriched to a higher level, saying his country will not be bullied by the West into curtailing its nuclear program a day after the U.S. imposed new sanctions.

Mahmoud Ahmadinejad reiterated to hundreds of thousands of cheering Iranians on the anniversary of the 1979 foundation of the Islamic republic that the country was now a "nuclear state," an announcement he's made before. He insisted that Iran had no intention of building nuclear weapons.

It was not clear how much enriched material had actually been produced just two days after the process was announced to have started.

The United States and some of its allies accuse Tehran of using its civilian nuclear program as a cover to build nuclear weapons but Tehran denies the charge, saying the program is just geared toward generating electricity.

So, Bush passed on taking on Iran, instead leaving the diplomacy to Europe. Obama claimed he'd reach out, and get the Iranians moving... how's that working out for ya?

Israel's gotta be about one step from launching a full on air assault of the county.

It's a shame that the good citizens of Iran won't stage another revoloution & wrest control of their fate from the bunch of lunatics presently in power.....:(

Who says they wont?

Ah yes.
The we have WMDs stuff.

How is that working out for you? Find 'em yet?

Iran has strict gun control, so it's rather difficult to mount a revolution with sticks and stones. You never take a stick to a gun fight.

We never attacked Syria, but if we had, I bet we would have found them.

And if they werent there?

Go into Jordon

How about admit what the British government has,

There wasnt any

I'm saying they won't......;)
I'm saying they are either too cowardly to stand up against the loons running the country, whom they've elected btw.....;)

Hey kiddo, Iran isn't a "nice" country, run by people that care about human rights, or what the "people" want. It's a thugocracy run by bad evil people. You protest, you can end up dead. It must be nice to live in a bubble where that sort of reality doesn't register... ahhh the bliss of ignorance.

And some people never learn.

Such as any westerner who tries to change the subject of a thread so as to show their support for the Iranian Regime?

I don't support any Iranian regieme. I just abhor idiocy. And I see a lot from Ahmadinejad every time he opens his cake hole. It's a pitty that such idiocy is easily believed by those who should know better.

Mother of all battles = war over in 100 days.
Greeted as liberators = years of insurgency.
Isreal off the map = Isreal still there.

Nice to know you care, considering a decade ago nobody did. And I still don't.

"Lets invade Iraq they have WMDs!"

A year later none found.

"Best out of three then?"
I'll bet the Iranians thought he had WMD's because they've been working on their own program.

Or maybe they learned form Pakistan and North Korea that the best way to keep from being invaded is to have nukes?

Sure, and the war with Iraq where their army got WMDed had nothing to do with it. Keep the blinders on.

Actually, the NK nukes have very little to do with why no one wants to invade that country.

I know why no one does, do you? (I'll give you a hint, it's a number, about 19,000,000)
