When is the civilized world going to say enough is enough and teach these thugs a lesson that they need us more than we need them?!?!?
 
I think the surprise when the idiot Chinese leadership does something like this is that calls attention to their total lack of concern for human life.

They would do well to acy like what is done here when you can control the press or have it in your pocket. That being ignore the truth or ridicule the opposition and call them names. Just accue the other side of everything you are in fact doing and the stupid people will be lieve you every time no matter how often you're caught in lies.

This Alenski tactic works wonder for Obama.

Life is cheap when you have a billion+ people......;)
Statistically, the number of people killed was insignificant....
No amount of reporting is going to resurrect the dead....
We could always protest by not buying Chinese products......:roll:

How do you manage to bring Obama into EVERY single post you make?
 
Money talks and human rights walk; no, not just in China, but everywhere else.

Most people in China know that the Sichuan earthquake damage was caused by faulty inspection contracts if you talk to them one on one, but in group discussions they all tow the line of nationalism. After all, the nail that sticks out gets hammered down.

I'm not saying the activist was wasting his time. He probably revealed the truth to a lot of people... but if he thought that the courts would be on his side at all, he was delusional. There's little point in seeking judical recongition while Communists control the courts. The system needs a revolution before that can ever happen. Nothing there belongs to "the people", despite the name of the country.
