No, I didn't. So either you're misrepresenting my position or you can't read. Please go back to that thread and point out where I supported politicians being exempt from DUI laws. Show me that.

The level of immaturity in this thread is depressing. Grown men dancing around a dead man's grave and hurling insults at him. A dead man.

Too bad none of you had the balls to say any of this to his face when he was alive.

Congratulations on lowering the bar gentlemen. You've made the liberals very happy.
If that man was some one like Hitler, Saddam, Benedict Arnold, Theodore Hall or some other rat scum that generally every agrees is rat scum would you be commenting on those dancing their graves? Why should someone being dead or hospitalized change the fact that you view a certain individual as scum and why on earth should you show any respect to that person just because they are dead when you didn't when they were alive? I imagine that when news of Hitler died, when Saddam died and other scum died people were dancing on their graves or at least metaphorically.
"A nation can survive its fools, and even the ambitious. But it cannot survive treason from within. An enemy at the gates is less formidable, for he is known and carries his banner openly. But the traitor moves amongst those within the gate freely, his sly whispers rustling through all the alleys, heard in the very halls of government itself. For the traitor appears not a traitor; he speaks in accents familiar to his victims, and he wears their face and their arguments, he appeals to the baseness that lies deep in the hearts of all men. He rots the soul of a nation, he works secretly and unknown in the night to undermine the pillars of the city, he infects the body politic so that it can no longer resist. A murder is less to fear"

That's right, Winnb. The topic of this thread is, "Murtha is a no good, lieing, cheating, thieving piece-a-**** dead mother ****er and deserves to burn in hell with his padnah Teddy-boy-the-murdering-bastard-Kennedy " and you're seriously taking the thread off topic.

Regardless of whether the man is the supreme evil, in a moral sense it is always better to have a stoical attitude about one's enemies.
If you notice something good in yourself, give credit to God, not to yourself, but be certain the evil you commit is always your own and yours to acknowledge.

Murtha never apologized to the Marines he slandered, and I as a veteran will never a apologize for saying that he dosn't deserve to be honored. In fact he was a tratior to the USMC and to all who served.

John Murtha I know you are burning in hell where you belong. Its to late to apologize now you traitorous piece of ****. BURN!

Whether a person deserves condemnation or not, nobody can increase their stature by one iota through grandiose displays of anger.

Pretty strong words from someone who is either a LIAR himself or has a short memory.

Ready to apologize any time soon?

Not to speak ill of the dead here, but no one should just gloss over the fact that Murtha was one of the most corrupt members of congress, and we will probably knock a percentage point or two off of future federal deficits now that one of the kings of pork is no longer in office.

I guess thats not very nice of me, but in my opinion if someone is corrupt while in office, we ought not just forget it all the day they die.
