Good for you. And like you, I won't throw a tantrum like some of your compatriots are doing.

Can you imagine how the hate threads are gonna fly the day Bush passes away? He has a LOT of our nation's finest blood on his hands.

Whatever. It's all selective and hypocritical.

like the anti-bush threads in his death will possibly be worse than his life threads?

There is no selctivity on my part...

When kenedy died, this was not my reaction, nor will it be when most leftwing politicians die...

as I said early on in this thread, this is not a left right thing. I could care less about his politcs. it was his slander and willingness to have honorable men executed via a capital crime with said slander that I feel very strongly that he rot in hell.

I feel the immediately attacking liberals on this forum have done was wrong, and its the same here. Using the death of a politician you disagreed with as a chance to just launch into vitriolic attacks immediately is just a low class act inmho.

Some in this thread have stated their disagreements with Murtha without being over the top hateful and full on attacking, kudos to them for being able to express themselves while keeping some class.

The man was willing to slander marines accusing them of a capital crim without evidence....

Eff him. he deserves no respect.

An incredibly low brow and horrible attack by him and one that I hope sticks to his legacy for many years to come. Men should be remembered in the years following their death for the good AND the bad of their lives.

    It was downright criminal.

I hope you unerstand why I'd be less than civil and would happily do a jig on the mans grave....

There is a special place in hell for his type. The fact he was a liberal is irrelevant.

You can tell by the fact that you tried to post a link that argued exactly opposite of your contention (you actually have a habit of kicking yourself in the butt...you'd think you'd learn by now....but Republicans generally don't learn from their past mistakes..they just keep making the same mistakes over and over....kinda like you Navy....

Yes Navy....and if you had read the post that you posted you would have seen that I went back to the Helms thread and pulled up his own quote which clearly displayed his hypocrisy....and proved he was wrong.

You guys already know my feelings on N. Korea and Iran. I hate them both. **** China too.

But I would like to see our dollars spent right here on our shores for a change. Spent on things like education, health, infrastructure, veterans, job creation. **** the dogs of war and their never ending quest to keep the defense industry booming.
Believe it or not, Cap'n, were just about in agreement here. I would love to see this country at peace, but we were attacked first, so we went after them in Afghanistan. I was surprised we went after Iraq. I thought we probably should have gone after North Korea, but maybe Bush was worried about the chicoms and figured it might have escalated into WWIII. Then again, are we really sure that Saddam Hussein didn't have wmd's? It took us a long time to mobilize to go in. All the while we were getting prepared, what about all those trucks heading to Syria? We never did attack Syria, and I heard scuttlebutt that we were mobilizing to attack Syria. What happened to that plan, I wonder?
