I'm not going to bother to read the posts in here. When my husband and I were listening to WTOP yesterday and the announcement came over the radio, I said to my husband, "I know there are people on my message board who are celebrating right now." It makes me sick that I was right. PRedicitable.

Well, you and I are in agreement there. Maybe we should sit down and trade ideas. Then again, I'm pretty radical. You may not like my ideas.

Is this selective criticism drawn down party lines? You betcha.
As a matter of fact, I remember seeing Bush and Cheney come on national TV and admit that they had faulty intelligence. Then again, with all the mass murders that occurred in Iraq and the fact that those murderers are now getting and facing justice, then going into Iraq was a good thing.

Are you equally annoyed that we didn't go into North Korea and start another front, thus killing more young American men and women?

Look, start an RIP thread if you want a tribute. The Good Reverend warned everyone this wasn't one.
Actually, an RIP thread was already started before this one, and it looks like the primary purpose of this thread was to hijack the RIP thread by creating an anti-RIP thread. Well done, too. Now the discussion is not on the death, but on controversy instead.

Personally, although I could not stand Murtha, I would have at least waited until he was in the ground before starting a thread like this.

Truthfully, I'm kinda torn on that one. I know we can't just stick our head in the sand and ignore the crazies in the world for that will surely come back and bite us in the ass.

But I'm also pretty tired of my country having to be the world's policeman.

You guys already know my feelings on N. Korea and Iran. I hate them both. **** China too.

But I would like to see our dollars spent right here on our shores for a change. Spent on things like education, health, infrastructure, veterans, job creation. **** the dogs of war and their never ending quest to keep the defense industry booming.

I wonder what bothers you the most?
The thought that Murtha said what he sad?
Or that what he said was true?

    Never mind. Rhetorical question.
