Our Constitution was made only for a moral and religious people. It is wholly inadequate to the government of any other.

This is the 21st century. Evolve people.
Yes. Keep his mouth shut. That is what don't ask, don't tell is about. If we don't know, we don't care.

Evolve? Why don't you evolve to understand men in close quarters might not appreciate being confined with individuals that see them as potential sexual partners. It creates an unneeded tension. It could get people killed.

The military is not a social experiment. Keep it to yourself if you want to serve. Is it asking too much?

Further, if DADT is lifted, watch what comes next. The floodgates open, next comes the flood. You'll get all manner of Patty Schroeder type ingrates crapping all over the military.

.PS. To the moron that made the comment about military honor. If you can't figure out what the 9 asterisks are, here's a hint f*c*h*a*s.

My point went right over your head. Too bad...

I don't care what it says, I was just honored that I rated 9 asterisks. That's pretty cool in and of itself. Do you know any words that rate 10 or more asterisks. I'd be right proud to get some of them

Even Colin Powell supports the end of this policy. When the people who backed the policy are saying it is time to end it, doesn't that say something?

You are totally misrepresenting what he said. He did NOT say he supports the end of the policy. He said he supports the efforts of the DOD to re-assess the policy. Here it is in his own words:

    Why would he do that?

You are behind the times. That is what he said Feb 1. This is what he said Feb 3.

Colin Powell Favors Repealing "Don't Ask, Don't Tell" - Political Hotsheet - CBS News

Powell said in a statement. "I fully support the new approach presented to the Senate Armed Services Committee this week by Secretary of Defense Gates and Admiral Mullen, Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff."
Apparently, someone wasn't paying attention on Tuesday.
