Obama Unveils 3.83T Budget with Massive Deficits

when the president signs it, it's his

obama's 2010 budget is a killer

he should immediately stop monies allocated by the first stimulus not already spent

he should dump his plan to do a second stimulus

and he should stop putting out tarp money for fatcat insiders like geithner's gang at aig

if he did, he'd save over half a T

if he doesn't, he'll pay prodigiously for all the pain

I demand the Constitution be obeyed, which means I'm not demanding my would-be masters in Washington steal money to do things for me.

No, he doens't have to spend to move the economy. That can be accomplished by cutting taxes.

I'd feel sorry for Obama for being a socialist, but I don't waste pity on enemies.
 
It all just takes me back to wondering...exactly what are these new Democrats, and the economists who support them, thinkng?!?! What drives them? Do Obama and the rest simply want to destroy America in order to make it over into something entirely different? Are they so inexperieced they are prone to foolish decisions? What could it be?!!?

It is mind-boggling that the very same people who a year ago decried huge deficits and debt now have no problem actually growing them.

Well of course the Dems decried the Huge deficits of Bush and his GOP congress. The money wasn't being spent on all of the stuff the Dems wanted.

It's the same reason the republicans are sqwauking like a bunch of old hens now. They're no longer in charge and they can't piss our money away on their pork.

They're thinking they can spend their way out of debt. Which is foolish. But it's no more foolish than the republican mantra of "cutting taxes to get out of debt".

Both are wrong-headed.

There are only two ways to get out of debt. Cut spending and or increase revenue (taxes).

Democrats are hoping the economy will rebound asap, they'll get increased revenues (taxes) and that'll help offset the enormous spending they're doing now. They're rolling the dice. But they're gambling with our money to do it.

Not really true.

Any pork a Repub wants, he can get. All he has to do is support Messiah Care or some other Messianic treason to the Constitution.

Most of the worst of the liberal socialist scumbucket Repubs were replaced by liberal socialist scumbucket Messiah freaks, and the Repubs that were left, for the most part, are listening to their constituency for a change. It took them two lost elections to do this, but they're discovering that they were far far to the left of where America wants them to be.
