yep revisionist on Repubs parts. No recession until Mar 01...

Uh huh....From your own article....Maybe you missed it....

The NBER did not give any reasons or causes of the recession. But it is widely accepted that the housing downturn, which started in 2006, is a primary cause of the broader economic malaise.

    Hello?

Is the Puget Sound connected to the rest of the real world?

    Yes, Bush inherited a recession.

It was called the Clinton Recession, by some strange coincidence. That might be because the Clinton Recession started under Clinton as a direct result of his silly policies. But then again, maybe it's named after the former governor of New York. Whatever, Clinton ended his term in recession.

    He is a Democrat.

And supply-side fails without a consumer (middle) class to purchase goods, so it's a balancing act of keeping money flowing to all parts of the economic body.

The Rapist President never balanced the budget.

And there you go dropping another hyperbole covered turd. Clinton wasn't a rapist. Do any of your posts ever contain truth or facts?

And with the help of a GOP Congress Clinton kept deficits under control and ended up doing a very good job of managing our government.

Let me chime in here and see if I can help jog some partisan memories...

There was that war in Iraq that was supposed to pay for itself... How'd that work out?

And those tax cuts that flooded a deregulated market (Casino) with so much investment capital they had to invent new and creative unregulated ways to invest (lose) it... Seven Out..Craps!!

Oh, and that Medicare Prescription Drug, Improvement, and Modernization Act which the US Comptroller called "...probably the most fiscally irresponsible piece of legislation since the 1960s..."

And who could forget July 2008 when gas was $4.08/gal...

    Thanks for the memories, W...

You should learn your history before denying facts, shouldn't you?

You wanted to pretend the Rapist President had a budget surplus.

    He didn't.

Now you want to pretend the Rapist President wasn't a rapist.

    Facts say otherwise.

Study the real story about Billy "Kiss It" Clinton, okay? It all came out when he was impeached.

yes, with the aid of the GOP, the Democrats in Congress managed to pretend that Socialist Security Tax receipts for future expenditures counted as revenue and future obligated Socialist Security outlays did not count as liabilities, and thus were able to show a phony "surplus". By using methods that put people like Ken Lay in jail.

Actually, one of the main causes of the Great Depression was stocks being sold on margin, that is, you could own the whole stock if you paid about 10 percent for it up front. The bubble created was so huge that, once it burst, the market didn't reach that same level again until the 1950's.

Well at least now I know you're a waste of time. I'm pretty sure there's nothing the Dems have ever done right in your mind so I'll just move on. You and your hyper-partisan nonsense can waste someone else's time.
