Alaska: Palin Daughter Seeks Child Support

We should all be asking ourselves what does Sarah Palin's daughter have to do with anything in regards to Sarah running for public office. This is just a flanking maneuver from the left and the bias media in attempts to bring down Sarah Palin. It seems odd to me that the left condemns SCOTUS decision in regards to the first amendment, yet practices character assassination by the very right that was affirmed by SCOTUS.

Child Support is calculated according to Court Civil Rule 90.3. You may access Civil Rule 90.3 by clicking on the left side of CSSD's homepage. When someone has primary physical custody, the payments are based on what the noncustodial parent earns. Primary physical custody refers to the parent with whom the child resides at least 70% of the time. That court rule says that the noncustodial parent of one child should pay 20% of his or her adjusted income to support one child. Adjusted income means earning after deductions for taxes, union dues, retirement deductions and other mandatory deductions.

For example, if the noncustodial parent’s adjusted income is $1000 per month and that parent has one child, her monthly support obligation would be $200.

With all due respect to the posters that have brought up some good points, especially the ones that know what they are talking about when it comes to child support and grandparent visitation, I have statement: Who the hell cares!

I can't believe this loser family keeps making the news let alone two kids that couldn't keep their pants on.

There are plenty of families in the millions that are in a similar situation. I have even known a few that thought the way you do, until it happened to them. Children, you can only do your best to raise them the right way but, ultimately they must strike out on their own. This isn't a failure on anyone's behalf, I think we have forgotten how powerful our emotions can be, especially at a very young age.

Sarah has been using her kids as props in her campaigns. I guess that is what they have to do with it.

It was not the media that forced Sarah Palin to put her children on the stage and use them in her political campaign was it now....

Yes children are off limits but when the parents openly use them in the political aspirations over and over and over again instead of letting them have a normal life as possible, then I frankly could give a rats ass about the parents opinions about how the media are treating their children.

Imagine you teach a dog that eating your shoes is bad. You tell this dog every day to not eat your shoe because it is bad. You take this dog to training schools so that he won't eat yours shoes. You spend years giving him healthy food and buying him play toys so he won't eat your shoes. After about 4 years you get home one day and find your dog has destroyed all of your shoes. Would you consider yourself a failure as a dog owner? I certainly would. Why? Because even after years of effort, and hard work and caring for that dog, he still went and ate the shoes. This is certainly a failure on somebody's behalf.
 
Levi has been an ass from the outset allowing himself to be used by the Obamaedia to try to make the mother of his son and Sarah Palin look bad fo political reasons.

If I was Bristol's father I might have been tempted to kick sorry ass. So far he's been nothing but a low class punk.

I condemn this behavior on both sides, and the children are family. A political campaign and the amount of time required is daunting to say the least. The triumphs or defeats, I would except a family to stick together. Millions of children are thrust into a public forum of one sort or another. Little league baseball, football, hockey games, dance competitions etc, yet we don't assassinate their characters or their families, or at least we shouldn't. The unfortunate thing about this is that they are being attacked by very powerful forces the media. Some great examples of end results can be found on facebook victims, is the end result we are looking for in regards to these two kids...suicide, would this make us feel like winner.

How much more did Palin use her family than say, Obama used his? Google "Obama Daughters" and find all the images of Obama on stage with his wife and kids. Bottom line is, you cannot be in the national spotlight as a politicians and keep your kids or wife behind closed doors.

I'd suggest that the media made the spotlight on Palin's kids. Palin herself didn't use them as props more or less than any other politician running for VP. Yet, the media, in a frenzy to dig up dirt sent loads of reporters to Alaska to dig up anything they could and that was widely covered and the AP and other news organizations didn't deny it.

Yet, the story NOW, which is what the OP is stating - has nothing to do with Palin though the coverage of it is meant to still disparage her. The hate is still there for Palin by many in the media and politics. Some part of it is still the fear they have for having her make decisions for this country as she is the anti-Liberal anti-Progressive and she's got people's attention and continues to garner their attention.

I always kept my pants on when I was a teenager as the consequences were too formidable if I didn't. When I became older I ALWAYS made sure some kind of contraception was used and in fact by BOTH parties. It's not that hard really. (no pun intended). :mrgreen:

Come on why does society today excuse lack of self control and irresponsible behavior?
