Cindy Sheehan leads protest at CIA, Cheney's house

Sheehan's 21-year-old son Casey was killed in Iraq in April 2004. She staged a prolonged demonstration outside former President George W. Bush's ranch near Crawford, Texas, in 2005. She says using drones is "cowardly" and "immoral."

Its people like this who don't deserve the freedom to speak. Her own son was killed in Iraq, and she wants other sons/daughters to die because she thinks using the drones isn't fair enough to the terrorists...

What the hell has Cheney got to do with the current Predator strikes?

What a moonbat nutball.

Scapegoat? Theres no way that Sheehan would protest against Obama, she is much to partisan to do that. So, she'll just go to the last vice-president's house, and protest. And the CIA headquarters.

Thats a great point but the real question is why isn't she protesting Obama? He greatly increased the drones under his presidency and he's currently employed, a far richer target for someone trying to get exposure.

I thought she was just anti war but I guess you're right considering her target.

Not that this dim witted freak ever had any credibility to begin with, but Obama has carried out more drone strikes in his first year than Bush did in three years.

I am at a total loss to see why she would protest outside Cheney's house. It makes like zero sense, but then again, I never found her to be particularly sensible. She is one of those people that always make me cringe, since I don't like how they do things, but know they will be associated with the left.

She could be associating Cheney with her son's death.

What a moron. I can't even begin to fathom how someone can think that sending robots instead of humans into harm's way is a bad thing. I'm looking forward to the day when nearly ALL of our military's actual fighting will be done by robots.

(And an aside: She actually HAS protested Obama in the past...but for some other inane reason that escapes me at the moment.)

I am with Redress, on this she is one of those people that make me cringe as well. This women, seems to be a moron that doesn't understand the need for drones.

And Cheney has what power now? Kinda futile to protest there. If she was serious, she should be protesting Obama, he is the one making the decisions now.

Really?

Unless you are talking about some-other obscure protest, she made protest at Martha's Vineyard the same time Obama was there, but it was not protesting him.
It was instead an attempt to bring her positions some attention and possibly influence Obama's actions.

"There are several things that we wish to accomplish with this protest on Martha's Vineyard," Sheehan said in a statement:
First of all, no good social or economic change will come about with the continuation or escalation of the wars in Iraq, Afghanistan and Pakistan. We simply can't afford to continue this tragically expensive foreign policy.

Secondly, we as a movement need to continue calling for an immediate end to the occupations even when there is a Democrat in the Oval Office. There is still no Noble Cause no matter how we examine the policies.

Thirdly, the body bags aren't taking a vacation and as the U.S.-led violence surges in Afghanistan and Pakistan, so are the needless deaths on every side.

And, finally, if the right-wing can force the government to drop any kind of public option or government supported health care, then we need to exert the same kind of pressure to force a speedy end to the occupations.

Ya, that's the one I was thinking of. She was basically protesting that he didn't withdraw all of the troops from Iraq the first day he was in office, and that he escalated the war in Afghanistan.

If she protested Obama she would get no coverage.
She tried it already... and her coverage was not only limited but the libs started to crap all over her.
They started to treat her like a Republican.
Cindy Sheehan Protests Obama's Vacation - Political Hotsheet - CBS News

The Lib propaganda machine used her like a tampon. After she got the job done, off to the trash heap she went. When Dr. Hope a Dope was elected she became a nuisance for them... and took a page from the Clinton's Nuts and Sluts Handbook. The demolition crew went into action.

So now she's trying a new tactic.

She's a moonbat, the R's knew it... but a useful moonbat for the Lib propaganda machine.

Perhaps she's trying to get back in their good graces.

All very bizarro, but that's the left for ya.

I don't know where you get this 'take' from because she wasn't protesting Obama or "that he didn't withdraw all of the troops from Iraq the first day he was in office".

From all that I have seen she was trying to influence him.
Which clearly isn't protesting him.

Sheehan is clearly a nutter, you can hardly find a tyrant on this globe who hasn't exploited her 'criticism' yet. That said, I also see the comparison with protesting at abortion clinics. Governments shouldn't allow people, who are unhappy about the democratic process, target individuals.

Poor Casey must be rolling over in his grave at the spectacle his mother has become. Hobnobbing with dictators and openly supporting terrorists (aka freedom fighters),everything a brave soldier represents, she now despises.

Here 15 minutes expired long ago. Let her rest in peace.

Cindy does whatever her handlers tell her to do, and having encountered one of them at the old John Kerry site, I must say that one would be hard pressed to find a more extreme idealogue.

Cindy started out as a Mom with a message and morphed into a fifth columnist once the hard core leftists got ahold of her.

I think it should be extended to 30 min, to illustrate what the media will attach themselves to to get the job done.

In recent history we first have Sheehan, then Obama. Both out of their minds in different ways, but perfect vessels to move the Lib agenda forward.

I am stunned at the level of agreement in this thread!

STUNNED!

Would one of the braver souls please look outside and see if the world is ending?!

Cindy Sheehan's sign should have read "Do a story on me I'm still relevant!!"

Her protests at one point may have been about the memory of her son, but now it's all about her.

Go **** yourself Miss Sheehan.

she may make everyone on this thread cringe but the media loved her for about 2 years

they invested a lot in her credibility

LOL!

it was a lot longer than 15 minutes

In this case, I fear I must recommend emergency exposure to popular Science Fiction.

Please resarch the terms SkyNet, Beserker from Fred Saberhagen's creations, and Cylons as well as these Star Trek (TOS) episodes :
