Obama 'strengthened America' in first year: White House

The White House Tuesday argued President Barack Obama's "steady diplomacy" had made America stronger and renewed its moral authority despite "unprecedented challenges" in his first year in office.

Note to White House and the 1st Bow-wow-wower:

Terrorists did not receive memo.
Chicago Olympic bid: Unprecedented 1st round failure.
Copenhagen Enviromaniacs Woodstock: Failure.
Unemployment 10%.

Perhaps there's a parallel universe they"re plugged into.

Well this thread plummeted to the bottom like a lead balloon.

Just bringing it up so Dems can attempt a defense and R's can have a few good laughs this afternoon.

Perhaps they agree... I don't know that the first year is a failure, but it's at best a "D" grade. However, if compared to all the crap that comes out of the guys mouth - he makes new promises and uses "unprecedented" at ever turn, I'd give him a B+ on comic relief, a solid B on being a typical politican, and a F on having any clue whatsoever.

What, you expected them to say "Well guys, we really screwed this up, sorry about that"?

Why not? The honest Americans are seeing it, just fine.

Notice that the friggin' Democrat is losing the struggle to keep the seat graciously vacated by Drunken Teddy in Democrat hands...and note that the Messiah has refused to go to Taxachussetts to help the bimbo...even though the loss of that seat means saving the American nation from the Messiah's Healthcare scam.

Why is the Messiah afraid to go to Taxachussetts? Because his appearance is more likely to strengthen the opposition than support the enemy of the people he needs to have elected.

That a Republican, of all things, is challenging in the bluest of blue states, in Ted Kennedy's former seat no less, tells us exactly how Obama has done in his first year.

Erod good question my good friend, what has he done, nothing that i can see

over here in the Uk,a lot of talk, but any action, thats whats counts.

nothing yet as far as i can see.

BOSTON (FOX25, myfoxboston) - His health care bill at stake, President Barack Obama plans a trip to Massachusetts to campaign for endangered Senate Democratic candidate Martha Coakley amid release of a poll showing an edge for the Republican Party in the race to fill a Senate seat Democrats have held for over a half-century.

AP: Obama to Massachusetts to Campaign for Martha Coakley

This is good news.... the last few candidates he helped lost. :2wave:

Yeah, I noticed that later.

Thanks.

Clinton, Bush, Messiah, for some reason they all become undesirable when their party's candidates are running for office, don't they?

Reagan, who espoused American, not liberal, values, never had that problem...

From what I hear Slick Willy and Barry are both going to be there this weekend.... if I were Martha Coakley, I'd just concede now and save my money.
