Hey, that glue is tricky stuff.... how often have you seen a car going down the road with an assembly line worker glued to the hood? FAIL!!!!!!!

    I disagree....
I really doubt that working the assembly line in an auto plant is a picnic like so many seem to think......

    A picnic? No. Boring work.

    Difficult? No.

Well-compensated? Extremely, with LOTS of vacation time.

Bankrupt as a result? Most definitely.

The car companies aren't bankrupt..... with the US government now as a partner, they can print all the money they want.

No...I'm basing it off the fact that the "religious right" is more concerned in politics and advancing a poltical social agenda that they are about teaching or adhering to the teachings of Christ.

Most people who use the term "Christian" wouldn't know Jesus Christ if he walked up and kissed them on the face.

Regardless of what amount of greed the middle may possess, they are proving your ideology to be a minority.

North Dakotans like their Governor, but aside from the health care issue and Hoeven's possible entrance in the race, I'm not so certain Dorgan would have bowed out (internal and external polling showed quite the undesired results for Dorgan this past year). Because of his party-line, we had to select someone of moderate political ideology (or as recently popular-"blue dog"), and Dorgan was that man. Believe it or not, North Dakota is a politically odd state, and typically a friendly one at that (which is why it feels funny seeing people discuss trouble for Democrats as if we would come out with pitchforks, tar and feathers) who mostly enjoyed Dorgan's long service to the state. We, to a certain extent, profess to be conservative, but because of our socialist past with farming, do like Democrats and do enjoy it when they lobby for funding and influence nationally. The joke is something like "we like our Democrats to be in Washington, away from home."

No offense, but if form holds, you're someone who has not yet made their hay in this world, and thus, hasn't had their hay taken away and given to someone sitting on a couch not attempting to make their own hay.

You will one day, and your views will change. That tends to be the cycle. Age and experience beget wisdom and realism.

I'm someone who willingly puts their hay in the pile to pay my debt to society, actually.

Do you even know how old I am?

So far the only thing older conservatives have demonstrated to me is that age begets idiocy and delusion.
Love this exchange between you and Erod on post #17. Notice who is the first to resort to personal insult.

    Typical.

Heartless Americans give more to charity than any other country in the world.
