HONOLULU – A Honolulu television station is reporting that conservative radio talk show host Rush Limbaugh has been taken to a hospital with chest pains.

KITV reported Wednesday that paramedics responded to a call at 2:41 p.m. from the Kahala Hotel and Resort where Limbaugh is vacationing.

The station, citing unnamed sources, said paramedics treated Limbaugh and took him to The Queen's Medical Center in serious condition.

Wouldn't it be ironic if the doctor who saves Rush's life is the same one who had the press conference, announcing that Obama was born in Hawaii? :mrgreen:

Frankly, I don't know what Rush has been saying about it -- haven't listened to him in years and have long preferred Neal Boortz to him anyway. Still, I would not wish ill health on any blowhards from the other side and, as some people on here may remember, I said kind words about Senator Kennedy when he was going through his cancer.

Hopefully he dies from all the oxycontin he's taken over the years while screaming about how evil everybody else who uses drugs is. It would be a much better death than what happen to Kennedy. Quick and probably painless. Instead of being confined to a bed while people bury you before you've even swallowed the embalming fluid. Democrats can call Rush's death payback for Kennedy. The worst that can happen is that Republicans elevate Rush to a cult figure(like they already haven't as you will see by the responses to this thread) and from now on we must all bow our heads whenever that hate monger is mentioned in a thread. You hate Rush? You hate America!

Jerry Falwell? Oral Roberts? Storm Thurmond? Seriously - none of those people deserve the ground they stand on - and we're all supposed to care when they get sick or start dying off? No. I'm sorry. I'm glad Rush Limbaugh is in a hospital. I'll be glad when Nanci Pelosi is on her death bed. I'll be glad when Murtha is on his death bed. Forgive me if I rejoice at the misfortunes of people who've used their positions of power to make this country worse. Now cry me a f'n river.

Hope he gets well soon. I also hope the hospital makes more statements because I'm curious as to what is wrong with him.
 
If there's a draft in prospect, he may be suffering a relapse of his pilonidal sinus. Whatever it is, let's hope it's nothing trivial.
 
I sure hope he hangs in there. He brings the truth to the American people everyday. I love his style.
 
Just heard an update on the news. Limbaugh's condition is serious.

By the physical looks of him and his lifestyle it is no surprize. Most likely a massive MI.

Also with his amount of money there is no doubt he could find a doctor to write him a number of scripts for narcotics. Almost mirroring Elvis in being rich and overweight.

Honestly? I'm nothing like him. Remember when Kennedy died? I was at the forefront of making fun of his death and hawked on any liberal who had been inconsistent. I remember when Jerry Falwell died. I was happy as ****. When Kennedy died? Same. When Rush Limbaugh dies? I will be no different. I have no sympathy for people who have made this country worse regardless of their ideology. Consistency on this matter is key.
