Report: Rush Limbaugh taken to Hawaii hospital

i was so hoping 'resting peacefully' was just a hospital euphemism for 'dead'

I don't agree with the man's politics, but I certainly am not going to wish death upon a guy that I don't even know. I wish him a speedy recovery as I would with anyone.

I'm sorry to hear he's ill. That may give some of us who can't stand the whine of the man a break while he's recovering.

Get well Rush and take your time doing so! Aloha :2wave:

More distasteful hate from the left...

People on the right can and have been just as guilty of this sort of thing. It's kind of a package deal with being partisan. If someone like Keith Olbermann was in the hospital for something similar, I'm willing to bet there would be a fair amount of Conservatives doing just as much celebrating. However, I will say that a fair amount of people on both sides are at least consistent in their distaste for people that they will celebrate just as much for someone falling ill or dying on their side if they don't agree with them. As I recall there were some people on the left who also celebrated Ted Kennedy's death. Overall, my point is that it's not that simple that you can pinpoint this as just being done by people on the left.

I wonder if he has a view of the beach from his hospital room...

I hope he does. In fact, I hope he is recovering comfortably and his illness brings with it some epiphany. May he live long and see the error of his ways.

Not to mention the silence of his fans who won't know what to say and may have to think for themselves for a change. I remember the confusion that set in when Fatbaugh had his oxycontin issues. Those were some peaceful times. :2razz:

The person to replace Limbaugh?

Sarah Palin! She's available, by cracky. We need more comedy in the world. Three hours of laughs daily.

Any other thoughts on his replacement? (who in the heck is Neal Boors?)

I vote for Palin. She's much nicer to look at and genuinely funny.:2wave:

I've already asked you to look in the basement for it. If you won't? I refuse to give you more food my little troll.

You should be dinged for bringing the downstairs up here.

You were proven a liar, and have twisted and spun all over...

No one said the right was full of kind souls btw, it's you "Tolerant" lefties from whom hate is most... hypocritical.

Moderator's Warning:
Off to the basement with this thread. Otherwise, most of the people in it would get banned from all the infraction points I'd be handing out.

Isn't listening to Rush voluntary? Some of you all sound like you're being forced to hear him. You all sound so terribly over the top in your dislike of him.

As for me, I don't like him so I don't listen to him. I mostly listen to FM anyways while I drive. It's so easy to avoid him, what's the problem? You all need him to die or something?

Limbaugh resting in Honolulu hospital after experiencing chest pains similar to a heart attack | StarTribune.com

It seems the old axiom is true that all prayers are answered only in this case the answer was no to the Liberals who were praying for the death of this bombastic self aggrandizing blow hard.
I am not nor have I ever been a fan of Rush I have known him since his days in Sacramento when he first became insufferable but I never wish any American ill. Some of the left on this site went totally childish, and showed their true ability to be the party of hate in this season of joy.
It is sad they hate an American so much yet bow and scrape and worship at the feet of Obama.

HONOLULU - Conservative talk show host Rush Limbaugh remained hospitalized in Hawaii Thursday after experiencing chest pains similar to a heart attack, according to the guest host on his nationally syndicated radio show.

Limbaugh was rushed to a Honolulu hospital Wednesday during a vacation.

"He is being treated today, continues to rest comfortably, and remains in good spirits," The Queen's Medical Center said Thursday in a news release. "Mr. Limbaugh appreciates the prayers and well wishes of his many fans and supporters."

On the radio show, guest host Walter E. Williams described Limbaugh's pains as similar to the feeling of a "heart attack coming on." He said doctors haven't confirmed whether the 58-year-old had a heart attack, and more exams were planned Thursday.

So how is Honolulu holding up?

Re: Limbaugh resting in Honolulu hospital after experiencing chest pains similar to a

I may not always agree with him, but find him sometimes entertaining, which is his job. I wish him a speedy recovery.---so I can disagree with him some more.

Re: Limbaugh resting in Honolulu hospital after experiencing chest pains similar to a

I don't listen to Rush, or any conservative talk-show hosts (everything seems to be syndicated in LA, and I live just '' that close outside the radius, of, well, anything on AM; BAH, I'm in a bitchy mood) but if I did hate him the last thing I would want would be for him to die.

If I hate him now, think about how much I would hate him if he had a memorial!

Re: Limbaugh resting in Honolulu hospital after experiencing chest pains similar to a

I enjoy the Rush Limbaugh show and find him to be likeable, I form my own opinions using all available resources so I don't feel his situation in any way harms me as some may think the conservative movement works. That being said, I hope that Rush has a speedy recovery and that the condition is not serious for his own sake, nothing more or less.

A lot of people don't want to believe the truth but back a few years ago it was determined that almost 40% of Limbaugh's listeners were Liberals. They wanted to know what their perceived enemy was up to. I thought it was funny.

Honest question, why would you find it funny? Shouldn't everyone hear both sides of an argument to make up their own mind? I am not a conservative, but I have often listened to conservative talk, and don't be shocked, my mind was changed.

Can I break it to you that your President is an American too?
