This is a stinky bit isn't it? "Raised abroad"? What is that supposed to mean? Four years in Indonesia is "raised abroad" is it. Well then, I'm a Chinaman. Unless of course you mean that Hawaii was "abroad".

Xenophobia is just something that cannot be avoided by conservatives, isn't it? Stnky 'orrible, ignorant xenophobia. You know about the world? You've traveled? How unAmerican!

By the way, before or after the Obama Healthcare reforms, there isn't an advanced democracy anywhere that would swap their healthcare systems for the disaster that is America's.

Foreign monies? Don't have any evidence do you?

Is that so? Then tell us why Canada, and England are trending toward that very thing? Opening up privatization of Insurance that offer better care alternatives to residents of both those countries?

Where do you go for your medical care Plato?

Are they, or are you just reading factually inaccurate information from sources that don't value accuracy? Some can take a few and make it look like it's a movement.

    I'm a man. I don't go to the doctor. It's for whimps.

I live in Hong Kong. So far I have only used the dentist, which is 100% provate. So I pay.

When in the UK I used the NHS. I attended a private hospital once on medical insurance. It was no different from the NHS but as i had cover from work I used it to free up NHS resources. You cannot easily get insurance to see your general practitioner so nearly everyone uses the NHS for that regard. Private insurance is used to supplement the system to skip waiting lists (which is why Companies pay for it) for non emergency care. But in the last ten years, waiting lists have come down a lot. When you get the care it's usually the same because private practitioners (who are world renowned and sought out by medical tourists) also work for the NHS. If it's not the same it's better.

And if anything the trend is for less health insurance which has been opened up for ever, and attracts tax relief. But it's a free market.

But I prefer the French system which does include the private sector, regulated by the State. This is nothing like the chaos you have in the US. And it costs just over half.

    yes, interesting note

teabaggers (by the way, whatever happened to all those sophomoric jokes msnbc was tossing about) are UNITED on ONE point:

their intense, fervid and in-the-gut opposition to leadership coming out of and direction provided by washington

anyone who can't hear THAT lacks the most basic, fundamental awareness of politics

maybe he should read the leaves

or, failing that, he could always just read the SIGNS all the protesters were carrying

Raised abroad was what I said, this is what Obama said in his Olympic speech.

You see, growing up, my family moved around a lot. I was born in Hawaii. I lived in Indonesia for a time. I never really had roots in any one place or culture or ethnic group. And then I came to Chicago. And on those Chicago streets, I worked alongside men and women who were black and white; Latino and Asian; people of every class and nationality and religion. I came to discover that Chicago is that most American of American cities, but one where citizens from more than 130 nations inhabit a rich tapestry of distinctive neighborhoods.
Grew up, moved around alot, never had roots. Never had roots in AMerican culture I should have saud, although, you're nitpicking here, my primary point, I don't believe our President shares American values. Look at his opinion that Chicago is the most American of American cities...because of it's differences, not its simlarities. He's not an "American" and you need to do more homework, again, I know what I'm talking about.

You know about the world? You've traveled? How unAmerican!
Even to your cold and historically rich nation.

By the way, before or after the Obama Healthcare reforms, there isn't an advanced democracy anywhere that would swap their healthcare systems for the disaster that is America's.
Must be why so many ex-English commonwealths from Canada come streaming over the border. Last time I'll remind you as you look more foolish by the post...do your homework, this was an easily researched topic.

Foreign monies? Don't have any evidence do you?
Evidence tough for the following reasons:

While the security people were not able to track most of the sources due to firewalls and other blocking devices put on these contributions they were able to collate the number of contributions that were coming in seemingly from individuals but the funds were from only a few credit card accounts and bank electronic funds transfers. The internet service providers (ISP) they were able to trace were from Saudi Arabia , Iran , and other Middle Eastern countries. One of the banks used for fund transfers was also located in Saudi Arabia .

But even the most ardent of Dem supporters asking where Obama got his money but Plato....let's be real clear here....NOT A SINGLE Dem who was scremaing about campaign finance raised a hair during the record Obama campaign coffers and you'll note, the subject hasn't been raised in Congress since even with all this ACORN controversy. No one was asking about Obama's money and I do mean....no one.

It was the Austrasians, that hewed on bravely through the thick of the fight, it was they who found and cut down the Saracen King.

You think insurance and Pharma companies can't raise their rates now?

Let me get this straight - you're citing an email from an urban legends link that debunks the email as false to support your argument? Is that what you're doing?

$500B Medicare cuts will have an adverse effect on the elderly.
