make that EIGHT incumbent dem senators heading into 2010 trailing against little pipsqueak republican unknown's

reid, specter, dorgan, lincoln, dodd, bennett and biden's seat all trail republican challengers by 5 to 22 points

sophisticated, experienced observers of politics, tho, of course, have been waiting a bit expectantly for the first numbers to surface describing the condition of the 60th aye, ben nelson

rasmussen today has not-applicable nelson behind current governor heineman by THIRTY ONE eye popping percentage points

nebraskans only, asked if they liked or disliked the deal their delegate made with devil reid, 17% approved

    SIXTY TWO PERCENT opposed

that's FREE medicaid forever the corn crowd finds overwhelmingly offensive

SIXTY FOUR percent oppose THIS BILL, in nebraska

    53% oppose it STRONGLY

the numbers against obama and his brokers are growing huge and fast

42% feel sway-backed ben was TOO cooperative with obama

only 13% feel he was not supportive enough

Election 2012: Nebraska Senate - Rasmussen Reports

whether death panels are real or fake, whether there should or shouldn't be a public option or single payer, the POLITICS of THIS BILL are plain as a pane:

this bill is so opprobrious across the public at large, passage of it will pulverize the party of pelosi

    collapse will be immediate

They think its in the bag. Talk began again last night on Cap n Trade. Seems as though the crisis they keep speaking of is the 2010 elections. They know that they are going to loose big time so they must rush everything.

Giving a free hand without opposition to any party would end up being bad for the country.

I don't disagree with that. That's why I wish republicans would stop with the Birther, tea bagger, death panel, rationing, socialism nonsense. To have a strong opposition party, worthy of winning back seats, we need strong, honest, logical opposition.

Way to generalize there. Not all birthers are in the same party. Not all "tea baggers" are in the same party. Same goes with all of your examples there.

That's true. I don't dispute that. But republicans should dislike them as much as do, more so even, as they tar republicans more than anyone else.

I'll side with Boo on this one, I don't think the profiling necessarily wrong either, they are Repubs more than anyone else.

I'll even go as far as to profile myself and exonerate the Dems on the birther issue. Let's remember, the Dems weren't asking any questions....forget a birth certificate request. The "Community Organizer", using a teleprompter, he was never asked detailed questions, his plans vague and based on hope and change rhetoric. Democrat concern for campaign finance vanished, NO ONE asked about where the money was coming from even when some of his Dem primary opponents dared to ask, even when it was discovered much of it was coming from abroad.

Obama. From the most corrupt political machine we know of.....from out of nowhere...raised abroad he "found" a home in Chicago, his values certainly not on American par as his domestic agenda has proven. Backed by foreign monies, his mentors and associates some of the most questionable in Presidential history. And nobody cared.....the birth certificate was all repub.

Far as the tea baggin....they were probably majority Repub/Conservative as well. Analogy would be the war opposition in this country, it tended to be dominated by Dems as we now see what has heppened once Dems gained power....the anti-war Left in this nation has absolutely vanished.

It was the Austrasians, that hewed on bravely through the thick of the fight, it was they who found and cut down the Saracen King.
