1- the war isn't over. do we still have troops there? are they still getting killed? we'll be occupying Iraq for the the next 50+ years.

2- that's the point. I feel just as strongly in my opposition to the War in Iraq as they do to healthcare reform (which I also oppose, but not as strongly). The thing is, I want no part of their group. They're a bunch of arrogant SOB's who had no problem labeling those of us who opposed the war and the Patriot Act as unpatriotic and traitorous. Now that things aren't going their way over this issue, they're throwing a hissy fit and proclaiming the end of this country as we know it.

Actions have consequences, another thing this group has no concept of. They burned quite a few bridges during the Bush years and now think they can rebuild them to garner support for HCR; well, it ain't gonna happen. Instead of throwing my support their way, I'll remain on the sidelines watching the show and criticizing them.

Don't tell me you're going to be just as silly? Lord, what's the matter with conservatives these days? Losing both their minds and their courage. At least among those who spout such silliness as this.

Not for much. First, we only have your word. Second, we have no way to judge how good you were at it. Third, you may not be seeing things as clearly as you think (and your silly hyperbole does suggest this).

So far, as I keep telling you, you are wrong. Most importantly, you're wrong on the facts.

One does not lead to other. No one has to break a second law. And I even suggested a way around it. And with previsions for those who don't make enough money, there is really little likelihood that the circumstance you pain above would be likely let alone common.

But that doesn't really matter. You don't go to jail for not having insurance. You have to break a separate law to go to jail. This is simple fact. It's not an opinion, or really debatable.

Yes,a family of four will get $10,000 credit for a $20,000 plan....They still have to cough up $833 a month.

Interesting numbers. How do you get them, and can you support them?

It was then just coincidence that many of the congressmen who orchestrated that ripoff are now lobbyists for the pharmaceutical companies.

Now that this initially nobel plan has been perversed with kickbacks am certain many of these congressmen will have a nice little Christmas present from the pharmaceuticals and maybe even a surprize lobbyist job awaiting them.

Now, back to the usual Rep vs Dem farce.
I was, but nice changing the subject. As you know the Rx law was microscopic compared to this thing.

    Merry Christmas

PS I still will never understand why the GOP did nothing about heathcare when they had all the power. Now they whine.
House Dems had control for 40 years prior to 1994, where were they then on this? And it's suddenly a rush.
